"Charlotte 's Web!" Judith proclaimed. "We're on chapter 3, remember?"

"Yes, I remember," Heather said as she lugged her hugely pregnant self into the bed next to Judith. She snuggled up to her daughter and started reading.

Judith smiled and listened to her mother read. After the chapter was over, she was too tired to stay awake. She kissed Heather goodnight and went to bed. "Night mama."

"Goodnight sweet pea." Heather made sure Judith was in bed, then brushed her teeth and got her pajamas on. "Better sleep while we can," she said as she slipped into bed. Emma would need to be repositioned in a few hours; if they were lucky Ellie would stay asleep that long.

"Feels good to be in our own bed." Neil said kissing his wife before heading to sleep. After spending two weeks in hotel beds, he was more than happy to be home.

Around 11 Ellie started waking up. She was thirsty since she hadn't had anything to drink at dinner or after, and her bottom was really starting to hurt from the rash. She reached for her pacifier out of habit, but if course it wasn't there. She grabbed her stuffed fox and started to cry.

Neil woke up when he heard Ellie cry. He went to her room abs picked her up. "Its okay sweetie." He said starting to change her and apply the rash ointment.

By that time Ellie was shaking. She just buried her face in Neil's shoulder and gripped his shirt tightly with both hands as she sobbed.

"Her bottom is bright red. It looks painful." Neil said trying to soothe Ellie. "She didn't even want me to wipe Her."

"Yeah, it looked pretty bad when I did her bath," Heather admitted. "She didn't scream like that, though. Want me to take her downstairs so she doesn't wake Judith and you can get some sleep?" she offered.

"It's okay. You go to sleep. Maybe some milk will help." Neil said taking Ellie downstairs and putting some milk in her new cup. "Look princess, mommy got you a new cup. It's like a big girl bottle." He said, trying to encourage her.

Ellie's eyes lit up when she saw the cup. "Baba!" she squealed as she reached for it. As soon as he gave it to her She shoved it in her mouth, then pulled it out when she realized the spout felt different than the usual nipple. She gave it a funny look but decided she was too thirsty to care and got to work chugging it down.

"It's a big girl cup." Neil said. "Mommy thought you'd like it instead of the other cups."

"No, it baba," Ellie said as She handed it back to him. "Moe? Pease?"

"Okay one more." Neil said refilling the cup. "After this its back to bed though."

Ellie finished her milk and handed the cup back to Neil. "Ahh done go seep now."

Neil put the cup in the sink and went upstairs putting Ellie back in her crib before Going to bed himself.

"Nini dada, wubs you!" Ellie called out as Neil left the room. She curled up under her quilt with her fox and was soon back to sleep.

Heather rolled over and snuggled up to Neil when her got back in bed. "You must be some kind of God damn miracle worker," she murmured.

Neil wrapped his arm around Heather. "She just missed me is all. You're the miracle worker, giving me all these beautiful girls."

Heather kissed Neil before drifting off to sleep. Aside from getting up once more to reposition Emma, everyone slept through the night. At 6:15 Ellie woke up. After drinking 2 cups of milk she'd totally soaked her diaper and her bottom wasn't feeling any better, but now the sun was shining and she wasn't tired and cranky. She tossed her fox and quilt on the floor, scaled the crib railing with ease, and waddled down the hall dragging them along. "G'mornin' dada," she chirped gleefully as she tossed them up on the bed and climbed up. She plopped down on his chest with a squish and tried to pry his eyelids open. "Time'a get up, dada!"

"Good girl, now go to sleep." Neil said kissing her head. He hoped he could get just little sleep before having to start the day.
