Jason came running when he heard her call scared to death he was going to do something wrong and either scare or not be there when she most needed him.

"Yes, honey?

"Yes daddy I'm ready." Cassandra lifted her arms up to have help out.

Jason picked her up and set her on her feet.

"Good girl," he said as he started to dry her off.

[Skylove27]

"How come you can lift me so easily daddy?" Cassandra asks, noticing for the first time as he got her dressed. Then they started to go to the kitchen after. She wondered what they were going to eat.

[Ishigreensa]

"Well, probably because you haven't really eaten like you should in a long time," he said.

[Skylove27]

Cassandra nodded, she went to reach for the food forgetting that he was gonna feed her from now on. But she was really hungry.

Jason stopped her just as she grabbed the bowl.

"Honey, wait a minute," he said.

He walked over and after prodding her up sat her in his lap.

"What did we talk about last night, honey?

"Sorry daddy. I forgot. I'm just hungry." Cassandra says. Hoping she won't get introuble for trying. She got punished at her old home for forgetting certain things.

"Oh, it's okay," he said holding her.

Cassandra nodded, understanding. Glad she wasn't being punished. She opened her mouth to eat .

Jason fed her at a steady but much slower speed than he thought she would eat.

No matter the pace, because it was oatmeal her face still got a little messy.

"There there," he comforted her.

"No more." Cassandra says. She didn't want to feel sick when she goes to his work for the first time.

"Okay, then we should clean your face off and get going then, honey."

He took her by the hand to take her back to the bathroom to wash her face and have her brush her teeth.

"Are they gonna be nice to me?" Cassandra asks after her face was washed in the bathroom. She got ready to brush her teeth.

[Ishigreensa]

"Well, they better be," Jason said.

[Skylove27]

"I love you daddy." She says softly and starts to brush her teeth. After her teeth were brushed she got help getting her shoes and socks on.

Before they knew it, they were on the way to his work.

He had a couple of books and a couple of toys to keep her occupied.

They came to the McDonalds break room, and he set her up at a table.

"Just sit here and color, or read," he told her.

"Yes daddy. Um daddy.. What do I do if I... Go in my diaper?" She asks. It sounded like she had been to shy to ask

"I'm afraid there isn't much you can do about it, honey.

[Skylove27]

"Okay daddy." Cassandra says softly. "You can start working daddy. I'll be okay." She says.

[Ishigreensa]

Jason smiled and went off to work.

Mostly, no one bothered her, but one or two high school kids did ask her her age and name before they started their part time shifts.

Cassandra didn't bother anyone and stuck to herself Coloring in her book, after the two high schoolers left her alone. She wondered how long Jason would be working before his first shift
