Unforseen Events (w/babyfrost)

Mike heard Aurora on the baby monitor and walked into the nursery.

He leaned over the crib. "Have a nice nap babygirl?"

Aurora nodded happilythrosignher arms up to be held.

Mike picked Aurora up and could immediately feel how soaked she was.

"Uh oh, someone's a leaky little princess." He said as he laid her on the changing table and changed her diaper.

He picked her up and planted a kiss on her cheek. "What should we do? I've already sent in your adoption paperwork."

Aurora giggled happily as Mike talked about her diaper. She played with her toes as she was changed and was happy to be back in his arms." Park." She said happily

"Oh, the park sounds fun." He got out a light blue dress, white sandals and a pink undershirt. "What do you think? Did daddy do a good job picking out your outfit?" He asked.

Mike really had no idea what kids, or even little girls liked to wear.

" pretty." She said happily clapping at the clothes mike picked for her.

"Good!" Mike said as he helped Aurora get dressed.

Aurora did her best to stay still so mike could dress her.

"Alright babygirl, all ready!" Mike said. "Now, do you think a certain little girl can get her diaper bag for daddy?"

Mike did not correct himself this time. He was testing to see if she minded or not.

Aurora crawled to the diaper bag and lifted it up as she crawled back to mike.

Mike picked Aurora and the the diaper bag up, and took them out to the car. He strapped Aurora in and drove to the park.

Aurora looked out the window as they made their way to the park

Mike parked in front of the park and got Aurora and the diaper bag out. He walked over to a clearing next to the playground, and spread out a blanket.

Aurora listened to mike and stood up on unsteady legs. She walked a couple steps before falling backwards on her bottom

Mike smiled and held her hand. He helped her stand up.

"Okay honey. We're gonna try again. This time daddy will help you. Start walking and you won't fall since I'm holding you up." He said.

Aurora got up with mikes help and began to take a few steps

They began walking closer and closer to the playground.

"See, you can do it babygirl." Mike praised as they walked.

Aurora did her best to stay up but was stumbling a lot. As they got closer she got ready to play

Mike let go of her hand and hoped that she would make it. He really wanted her to walk. He knew that deep down, she wanted to as well.

Aurora took some steps by herself as she made it to the play area she got to the part where she had to climb and fell before she could get up. She stood back up and tried to climb over it.

Mike stayed quiet as he watched. Aurora was determined, he'd give her that. Usually after falling, she would just crawl. Today, she stood back up and was trying her hardest to continue walking.

She climbed over the step and slowly walked to the swings. She fell a few times but made it there eventually

"Good job!" Mike yelled as he walked over and lifted her into the swing. "You just have to keep trying and eventually you won't fall as much."

Mike started pushing his little girl.

Aurora started smiling as Mike praised her. She enjoyed swinging on the swings and going high in the air

"You're flying!" Mike said as he pushed Aurora.

He couldn't help but smile.

"Honey, remember to hold on tight."
