"Um....hot chocolate?" Addy tried.

"Hot chocolate, eh?" Charlie's eyebrow was raised as well and she walked over and took the mug, taking a sip. "Funny how it tastes like coffee."

Katie tried to cove up her laugh and act like she was coughing when Addy got caught out

"No I'm not." Addy argued. "Plenty of other girls my age drink it."

Charlie gave Katie a look that said 'don't laugh at your sister' when she began trying to cover it with a cough.

"they shouldn't and they don't need it

Addy flinched a little when Emily began yelling and did her best to keep the guilty look off her face.

Emily sigh when Addy flinched so pulled her in for a hug and kiss her on the head "i'm sorry for yelling but i still stand that your to young for coffee baby" she mumbles into Addy hair

"Yes, mom." Addy sighed, hugging her back. Really she was just grateful that Emily hadn't picked up that she'd been drinking it for a month or so.

"And what time did you wake up to do that?" Charlie asked Katie with a raised eyebrow, taking in how tired Katie seemed.

Emily smiled when Addy called her mum it made her heart melt "thank you baby.... now after we eat and get dress we can go shopping doesn't that sound like fun " Emily says when she pulls back smiling brightly

"Yeah, it does." Addy said. "I really need a new pair of sneakers for cheer anyway. My old ones are kinda falling apart."

Charlie thought for a moment before saying, "We can still go shopping, but you're taking a nap when we get back, okay?"

"you should of told me sooner i could of took you to get new ones " Emily said as she mix up some pancakes mix

"They were still fine. I was going to ask to go this weekend." Addy said, taking a seat on the counter after hopping up onto it.

"Because you're clearly exhausted and if your body is tired then it can't heal that bruising as fast." Charlie said, throwing in the comment about the bruising to convince Katie. She wanted to give in when Katie looked at her like that but knew it would be for the best.

"alright then " Emily says as she starts making pancakes

"Can I have chocolate chips in mine?" Addy asked, trying out her puppy eyes on Emily for the first time.

Emily looks at Addy then laughs and nods "yes you can " she agree

[musicaddict]

"Thanks." Addy grinned.

[babygoth]

"your welcome" Emily says as she adds the chocolate chips

Addy decided to be helpful and set the table.

"Yes you are." Charlie said with a small smile, wrapping her arms around Katie.

"Thank you Addy for being a good girl " Emily says as she brings a stack of pancakes over

Addy smiled when Emily praised her, "You're welcome. Thanks for making pancakes."

"Are too." Charlie lightly teased.

"your every welcome " Emily says as she sits down

[musicaddict]

"You're taking a nap before we go shopping." Charlie decided.

Addy just dug into her breakfast.

"no!" Katie said being hard headed

[musicaddict]

"Eat as slowly as you want, kiddo. You're still taking a nap before we go to the mall, even if I have to rock you to sleep." Charlie said before she began eating.

[babygoth]

Katie turns to Charlie and says very slowly "no" showing she was to tried and being more hard headed as she was tried

Charlie could see the stubbornness setting in and sighed, leaving it alone for now at least. Besides, the kid looked like she'd fall asleep soon anyway.
