"Yes, mom." Addy said with a playful long-suffering sigh as she got up, not thinking about the fact she said it in front of Katie and Charlie.

Charlie smiled at the sight of Katie in those jammies. "You look cute in those, kiddo. You should wear them more often."

Once Addy was out of earshot, she turned to Emily and asked, surprised but hopeful, "She calls you mom now?"

Addy took longer than needed to change into her pjs since she knew Katie wanted to talk to Charlie and Emily.

Katie took a deep breath before saying "I don't want to go back to that school I hate there the kids the teachers all of it, I want to go to one of the arts schools or art and music high schools but I understand if you think it's a waste of money but I wanted to say that " Katie ramble looking so young and worried that Charlie and Emily would agree it was a waste of money and yell at her

"Okay, we can do that." Charlie said, hugging Katie. "We just want you to be happy. Thank you for trusting us with this."

"Wait really just like that ?" Katie ask looking at both women Shock

[musicaddict]

"Exactly. As long as you girls are happy, healthy, and safe then that's all that matters." Charlie said just as Addy reappeared.

"Told you they'd say yes." Addy said smugly as she sat down.

Katie nodded and then hug

[musicaddict]

"Yeah, but as far as foster parents go, the two of you are pretty laid back so I didn't think you'd care." Addy said.

"That where your wrong if we didn't care we would of made Katie stay in her old school " Emily pointed out

Emily wasn't able to do more than quickly hug back for a second but she was smiling widely, knowing how big of a step that was for Katie.

"Yes I do but I though I should point it out " Emily says smiling a little more now

[musicaddict]

"I think you, both of you," Charlie said, looking pointedly at Addy for a moment, who had the decency to look sheepish, "could benefit from learning healthier ways to express your anger."

[babygoth]

"But I don't normally show my anger " Katie mumble lost

[musicaddict]

"Your room shows what happens when you finally do though." Addy pointed out.

[babygoth]

Katie blush brightly and look down sadly since that was true "so how do we work on it then ?" She ask

"Well, we can do some trial and error which could take a while but we're willing to be patient. But, and hear me out on this, I think both of you could really benefit from therapy. It would give you better coping skills and give you someone to confide in who isn't either of us and who you know won't tell anyone else." Charlie said.

"Therapy?!" Addy asked, incredulous.

"You want me to talk to some one when I just finely started talk to you guys " Katie said lost

"I just thought it might help but it's not something we're going to force on you." Charlie said.

Addy thought about it for a moment before saying, "I'd rather talk to the two of you."

"I'll think about it maybe but my coping skills are fine " Katie mumbles with a small pout on her face

"Okay." Addy nodded, and was quiet for a moment before asking, "Can we watch a movie or something?"

[babygoth]

"Sure why you pick Addy this time " Emily says as she stands up "do you girls want ice cream for dessert ?" She ask

"Yes, please." Addy said in response to the idea of ice cream as she looked through Netflix. She wanted to put on a Disney movie but was worried Katie would make fun of her and chose Breakfast Club instead.

"Can you put another film on we almost always watch this one when its your turn " Katie said with a small whine in her tone while she nibble on her thumb nail trying not to suck her thumb another thing she was working on sucking her thumb as she didn't want to see like a baby in front of anyone

"How about Robin Hood?" Addy asked.

"I noticed. Addy sometimes does the same thing." Charlie mumbled back as she handed Katie her ice cream.
