Unable to Train

"What are you reading, Mister Brian?" Emma asked as she climbed up on his lap.

"Well, Emma, these papers are tell us more about you. Information like when your birthday is and a little about your biological parents. But we aren't planning to let your mean biological parents over at all, you are safe here." Brian didn't mention about the medical sheets that also told about the possible weak bladder system which would slow or prevent Emma from fully becoming potty trained.

Emma frowned at the mention of parents. She didn't have a father, at least not one she'd ever met, but the last thing she wanted was to ever see her mother again. "You promise my mommy won't come here and take me home?" she asked nervously.

"We promise, Emma. In fact, in this stack of papers is a court order that she has lost all contact privileges with you. She will not be allowed to know this address or phone number so she has no idea at all where you are."

"Okay, good," Emma said with a sigh of relief. "And I can stay here forever and ever?"

[daddybrian]

"Yes Emma, you can," I say wanting to not concern you in any way but knowing there was a lot you weren't understanding. "What would you like to do next?"

"Can we go play with my toys?" Emma asked, curious about what she might find in the toy chest and on the shelves; she'd been so busy with the dolls earlier she hadn't even thought to look.
