Amy almost went for the thinnest before remembering that would mean less absorbancy. She didn't want to leak in public. Instead, she got some that were plenty absorbent but still easy to hide, plus some booster pads should she ever need them.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Okay honey I think we are ready, I will pay for these and then I will diaper you in the bathroom. What kind would you like to try first?"

She asks as she approaches the cashier and pays for everything after getting some powder, wipes, ointment, and a changing matt.

"Disposable." Amy said, knowing cloth would leave a just a noticable diaper bulge if not more so.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Okay let's get you padded."

She says as she walks Amy to the bathroom with the supplies.

"Did you use your pull-up? I don't want to waste them"

Amy shook her head. she couldn't help but be a little sarcastic. "You said I'd be in trouble, remember. Conflicting signals, much?"

[Shy-Diapers]

"Just this once I'm allowing it. I don't want to waste those pull-ups they are expensive."

She says while laying out a clean diaper and setting all the supplies down within reach.

Amy tried to go, much the most she could manage was a small flow that didn't last long. Enough to make the first pull up slightly damp but nothing more then that.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Okay valid effort take off your pull-ups and throw away the wet one the other one is fine."

She says once everything is set up.

"Lay down so mommy can get you diapered,"

Amy reluctantly obeyed, removing her pullups and laying down to be diapered.

[Shy-Diapers]

Ashley smiles and quickly diapers her girlfriend up efficiently taping all four tapes on either side.

"All done baby girl!"

"Thanks, Ashley." Amy said, not comfortable calling her 'mommy' in public.

[Shy-Diapers]

Ashley frowns a bit.

"You don't have to be afraid of calling me mommy."

She says reassuringly as she helps Amy to her feet.

"What happened to easing me into this?" Amy said as she replaced her jeans. She was happy to see there was barely any bulge.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Sorry, I just wanted to help."

She says feeling a bit let down.

Amy shook her head. "Sorry. it's just the fear talking."

[Shy-Diapers]

"It's fine, no need to be afraid. I'll be here go,ding your hand the whole way."

[musicaddict]

"Yeah, but you're not the one letting yourself be treated like a toddler, even in public." Amy pointed out.

[Shy-Diapers]

"If anybody does or says anything I will whoop their ass."

She reassures as they walk out.

[musicaddict]

"Yes, because you getting arrested for assault will make me feel better." Amy rolled her eyes as they reached the car.

[Shy-Diapers]

Ashley frowns. She feels a little upset that Amy was being so resistant, ut she decides to not say anything and silently drive home with the new supplies not even bothering to tell Amy to move to the back.

When they got home, Amy was at least willing to help bring everything upstairs but after that turned to disappear for a while and think.

[Shy-Diapers]

Ashley doesn't care that Amy disappears. She just lays on the master bed in a ball starting to cry feeling defeated.

Amy had only gone as far as the guest bedroom, where she mirrored her girlfriend's position of being curled into a ball. In her case, it was around a pillow as deep down she wanted to curl up in Ashley's arms and be held while she tried to sort out her thoughts and feelings but she knew that wasn't going to happen. The pillow made a poor substitute.

Ashley ended up falling asleep hoping that when she woke up everything would be better and that she would be a real mother to a real child.

After about an hour, Amy quietly made her way into the bedroom. She needed to be around Ashley right now even if her mind was still a mess. She froze in the doorway once she saw her. Amy felt like her heart was breaking at the signs that Ashley had been crying. With a deep sigh, she laid down on the bed, careful not to wake Ashley, and cuddled up to her before closing her eyes. A nap didn't sound bad.
