I blush a bit when you call me your big girl. I come into your room and sit on your lap and lean my head into your chest.

Katie: I miss when we used to snuggle

I say trying not to tear up

(It's fine I was eating and checking whether supposed to be a big snowstorm. Fingers crossed for no school)

Katie: Okay, Mommy

I say wiping back tears that are forming

Katie: It has been hard we never get to be together anymore

Tears start rolling down my face

[Kaidus]

"I know honey" Annie says with another kiss and offering Katie a tissue; "There's something I've been thinking about since this afternoon when I had my realization, but I want you to think on it before answering; it's also your complete choice so no forcing."

Katie: What is it mommy?

I ask looking up at you with tears in my eyes still.

Ashley stays fast asleep in her crib. She cuddles her teddy. She tosses and turns in her sleep. Luckily she couldn't move her leg due to cast. She slept peacefully

"Well given that we haven't a lot of time together, I've been wondering if you would like to be

Katie: Maybe

I say wondering about it a few questions coming to mind

Katie: How little mommy?

I ask leaning my head back into your chest wiping my tears with my sleeve

[Kaidus]

"Mommy was thinking of going with being around Ashley's age" Annie answers; "Mommy will understand if that'll make you uncomfortable and we can always come up with something else."

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie: Could i be a little older mommy?

I ask as I wipe my eyes

Katie: What about maybe 3 or 4 would that be okay?

I ask as you kiss my head some more

[Kaidus]

"Of course" Annie answers still smiling; "We can start right away if you like and mommy has the perfect way to do so."

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie: Okay. What were you thinking Mommy?

I ask with a small yet warm smile forming on my face feeling loved and safe.

[Kaidus]

"Mommy can get you into your pull-up" Annie answers; "Rest assured, the potty is in no way off-limits; mommy's not sure if she said that already."

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie: Okay mommy.

I say sitting up and getting off your lap.

Katie: I understand mommy.

Ashley stayed asleep for about another 5 minutes. She woke up crying from a bad dream. She stayed quiet not wanting anyone to hear her. She didn't want to make anyone upset at her. She kept crying her leg hurting and her dream scared her. With being a baby she didn't understand her but it still scared her. She was playing happily one minute and the next she was all alone in the dark

Before mom could leave I hear Ashely crying and sigh a little.

Katie: Mommy, Ashley is awake

I say letting out another sigh since me and mommy were just starting to spend time together.

Ashley hears her sister talking and quickly quiets down. She didn't want to upset her sister. She cried silently with no noise and pretended to sleep even though she was upset and in a lot of pain.

[Kaidus]

"Mommy might know why" Annie says; "She might need her medicine; mommy will get it."

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie: Okay mommy

I say before you go to give Ashley her medicine. I just sit on the bed Indian-style waiting for you to return.

[Kaidus]

Annie comes back upstairs to Ashley's crib and offers Ashley her bottle since she has a feeling her leg is bothering her.

Ashley takes it willingly. She hides that, that isn't the only reason whe she was crying. She was upset about her dream but hid it. She just took the bottle and rolled over and started to drink the bottle as she kept quietly crying and now ignoring her mommy which she never does unless something is wrong.

I stay on your bed. Patiently waiting for you to come back, wanting to finish spending time with each other.

Not wanting to push any buttons, Annie leaves and goes to Katie's room to get her a pull-up and liner before returning to Katie;

I smile when you return.

Katie: No I good mommy. I don't need to go potty.

I say smiling as I go to the edge of the bed near you.
