"Good idea" Annie says while removing Ashley's shirt seeing what Ashley's trying to say; "Somebody wants to give you a hug."

I sigh

Katie: after your bath okay Ashely?

I say smiling at her

Katie: sissy just got clean

Ashley nods and says, "Otay sissy me wuv you. We pway wittle bit aftew me baff? Pwease sissy?" She gave her sister her cute puppy dog eyes. She then remembers her leg cast and says, "mommy can dat get wet?" She pointed to it pretty sure it couldn't get wet

Katie: maybe it depends on how tired sissy is

I say trying not to let her down

Katie: sissy's had a long day if not then tomorrow okay?

I say gently tussling her hair and then wiping my hand on a dish towel

Ashley smiles glad her sissy likes her again. She frowns when she doesn't say she loves her back though. She just sits in her high chair waiting to be given her bath by mommy

Annie gets Ashley out of her highchair so she can be taken upstairs;

Ashley cuddles into mommy as she is carried upstairs. She smiles big glad her sister is being nice to her again.

I grab the plastic wrap and follow you uostairs. Once Ashley is undressed i wrap her cast in the plastic.

Katie: there you go Ashley now your cast won't get wet

I say before going back to my room

Katie: Can you ket me know when she's in her crib for the night please mom?

[Kaidus]

"Of course honey" Annie says while getting into the tub now that they're both undressed and Ashley's cast is properly shielded from the water.

Ashley leans against her mommy happily relaxing in the tub. She loved taking bathes with her mommy it was so relaxing

Annie softly hums to Ashley while gently washing her clean from head-to-toe.

I just sit in my room reading a book while I wait for Ashley to be done with her her bath and in her crib. Since mom had told me we could have some quality time together once she is.

Ashley cuddles into mommy as she is washed clean. She smiles big and is wide awake due to just having a nice long nap. She probably wouldn't fall asleep until at least 8 o'clock.

Annie finds it good that Ashley's enjoying being in her arms and has a feeling that she'll be awake until she chooses to sleep; she begins to wash Ashley's hair.

Ashley cuddles I to mommy loving being washed. She splashes and plays with her rubber ducky.

After a while my book is done. Realizing mom and Ashely are still in the bath i sigh and turn my TV on. Hoping that soon Ashley will be asleep in her crib. I just want to spend some quality time with my mom.

Ashley snuggled into mommy now shivering the water had started to get cold. She smiled and was now relaxed. She might even go to bed sooner but still not for a little while at least. She said, "mommy me pway wit toys and watch barney pwease?"

Once I hear the bath water stop and hear Ashley talking i head into the bathroom.

Katie: Are you tired yet Ashely?

I ask in a gentle voice not wanting to upset her again.

Ashley shakes her head no. It is only 5 o'clock and her bedtime isn't until 7. She reaches for her sister wanting to cuddle and be held by sissy. She said, "you promise if me no tired you pway wit me sissy." She frowned. She wanted to play with her sister like she promised

I sigh a little.

Katie: Sissy will get you dressed and then we can cuddle.

I say before picking you up and carrying you to your room i out you in a fresh diaper and a clean nightgown to avoid hitting your leg

Katie: now we can cuddle Ashley

I say aftter lifting you off the table and unwrapping your cast

Ashley smiles and says, "Otay sissy." She cuddles close to her sissy while she is carried to her room. She lays still while she is dressed. She then cuddles back up to her sissy and kisses her cheek putting her head on her shoulder. She says, "sissy me wan baba pwease."

Katie: okay sis let me ask mommy

I say with a sigh setting you down with your teddy to amuse yourself with

Katie: Mom, Ashely wants her bottle.

I say a little annoyed being tired and wanting to spend time with mom.

Ashley sits on the floor playing with her teddy. She ends up falling asleep on the floor. The energy she had ran out instantly. She cuddled her teddy. She was exhausted all of the sudden.

I come back into the nursery and see Ashley sound asleep. I gently lift her into her crib and give her the bear she was playing with. I go to moms room and knock on the door.

Katie: Mom? Ashley fell asleep while playing with her bear.

I say hoping now I can finally spend some quality time with my mom.
