Out without your diaper bag

I've been self-induced bowel and urinary incontinent for over 14 years, and I carry a bag with extra diapers, cream, wipes, etc. every where I go, usually.

I was under the impression that bar some sort of accident or injury or illness, incontinence of the bowel was pretty much not possible

Hmmmm.... I'm sorry, but if your incontinent as you say that you are, wouldn't you always take ones to change into?

That would be incorrect.

The secondary muscle groups involved in continence control both functions and act as support for the primary muscle.

To achieve urinary incontinence aside from injury, the support muscles need to be weaker, resulting in less bowel control.

The primary muscles operate separately, so incontinence of one function does not necessarily mean loss of control for both.

What is not possible, is loss of control over one function while maintaining excellent control over the other.
