"I doubt she's mad, but I'll ask." He goes over to Jessica and talks to her for a minute, then returns. "She's not mad, and yes, you can hold the baby."

Cora nods and walks over to Jessica and lily.

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be sorry, sweetheart. I'm sorry I upset you, I didn't mean to. Colin told me you call him daddy and it just slipped out," Jessica said as she handed Lily to Cora. "Just be careful with her head, she can't quite hold it up herself yet."

Cora blushes a little not knowing that Colin told people. She carefully cradles Lily in her arms.

"Thank you"

When everyone is done opening presents Colin passes around a tray of cookies, then brings out glasses of milk for the kids.

"Why hello there! Aren't you just a little sweety!"

She coos to Kristin and brings Her onto her lap. Cora sits on the couch next to Colin cradling Lily who was asleep. She smiled down at lily.

Kristyn looks up at her and smiles. "Hi!" she says before jamming her thumb in her mouth and snuggling her head into her shoulder. (does Colin's mom have a name?)

(Lol I never gave her one did i?)

"You're a cutie!"

She coos cuddling Kristin.

"I'll have to get busy spoiling you and your sister like I did when the other girls were born"

She says looking over at Colin. Cora nods happily.

"I love babies. Mommy used to let me hold kristin sometimes and I'd help her babysit too."

She says smiling as she lets Lily hold her finger.

"Well, Jessica mentioned that it would be a huge help if you could go over and watch Lily sometimes. Not alone, of course, just play with her while Jess is doing laundry and stuff like that. Would you like that?"

"Yeah, I like Lily. And I think she likes me too"

She says looking down at the baby who was smiling in her sleep.

"I'm sure she does," Colin said, ruffling Cora's hair.

Cora smiles resting her head on his shoulder and yawning a little starting to suck her thumb.

"Oh you like dolls"

She asks thinking of how to spoil her.

Colin nonchalantly pulls Cora's thumb from her mouth, not wanting her to be embarrassed if anyone catches her sucking it.

Cora blushes when she realizes she was sucking her thumb.

"Sorry"

She says shyly.

"Well, gramma will see about fixing that."

She says softly to her rubbing her back.

Once everyone is done with their cookies people start packing up their gifts and trickling out, aside from the few that will be staying the night. Abbie says goodbye to her cousins as they leave then looks for her father, frowning when she sees that he is still sitting with Cora. She goes upstairs and slips into bed next to Charlotte.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Hi honey. How was it?"

She asks rubbing her back gently. Cora stays cuddled up with Colin.

(Aree Jessica and lily spending the night? I'm gonna have the mom stay the night if that's ok)

(No, they live close by so they're not staying but the mom can stay)

"That's good honey, a little, but my tummy still hurts."

"Can we talk some more like you promised?"

Cora asks softly laying her head in his lap.

"Do you want to go show me your room Kristin?"

"Oh. Do you want anything?" Abbie asked.

(Lol I was thinking Patricia but I like yours better)

"I'm okay sweety. Do you wanna watch a movie with me?"

She offers cuddling Abbie.

"Wow did you pick this bedding out?"

Jane asks seeing how happy Kristin was.

"I miss mommy and daddy allot. I don't like it here, I wish I was back home"

She says softly.

(Patricia is a fine grandmotherly name. That can be Charlotte's mom's name if you want. We'll work her in later.)

"Of course can you put in for me? I dont think I should be getting out of bed"

Charlotte says happy that Abbie is getting the attention she wants.

"Wow! You're such a big girl huh?"

She asks sitting on her bed.

"I don't know it doesn't feel like this is home."

She says witha sigh wiping tears from her eyes.

"At least it's better than the foster home"

She whispers quietly.

"Okay!" Abbie runs downstairs and gets the DVD, then changes back into her Christmas pajamas before starting the movie and getting back in bed with her mother.

"Comfy?"

She asks smiling at Abbie.

"Well that's great! You'll have to tell gramma what you like so she can spoil you rotten"

She coos bringing Kristin into her lap.

"I know, I'm sorry. I don't know. It just still feels like i don't really belong here. I'm sorry."

She says crawling into his lap resting her head on his chest.

"Yup!" Abbie smiled and cuddled up to Charlotte as the movie started.
