Colin reached for Cora. "Don't be sorry. You're allowed to be sad and get upset."

"Gwandma mwe hungwy." I say as my tummy rumbles loudly and everyone can hear it

"But I hurt your feelings"

She says letting Colin pick her up.

"Well let's fix that"

She says carrying her to her highchair where she has a plate.

Caitlin finishes her dinner and sits down to watch tv while waiting for everyone else to finish.

I sit in my highchair waiting to be fed

"You're a big enough girl to feed yourself"

She says going to the adult tables.

"I dont want to get my dwess dirty. It brand new." I say bit touching my food as i sit in my highvhair

"No, you didn't hurt my feelings sweetheart. Yes, I am sad right now, but I'm sad for you, not for me. I wish I could fix everything for you, but I can't," Colin said, hugging Cora. "Now, dinner is on the table. Why don't we go eat now, and we can talk more later if you want, okay?"

Cora nods and wipes her tears on her hand.

"Can I wash my face first?"

"Of course." Colin lets Cora go to the bathroom to freshen up and heads back downstairs where everyone else is eating and chatting.

Cora comes back downstairs her eyes still bloodshot, but her face is free of tears. She just eats her dinner quietly. Charlotte gets out of bed and slowly cokes downstairs.

"Feeling better?" Colin asked as Charlotte entered the kitchen. "Do you want to try eating something?"

I am still not eating as i sit in my highchair. "MOMMY!" I say excited to see her. I end up knocking the plate off the tray of the highchsir.

"Not really, but I wanted to at lea-"

She says before rushing to the bathroom again. Colin's mother raises an eyebrow, but waits for Colin to come back after helping Charlotte.

Colin gets up and follows Charlotte to the bathroom. "I don't remember the morning sickness being this bad with the girls," he commented as he held Charlotte's hair back.

I start crying as mommy ignores me straight away as she rushed to the bathroom. I sit crying in my highchair.

"Maybe we have an athlete on the way"

She says wiping her mouth after throwing up.

"I'm going to go rest if you don't mind, let me know if you need anything."

"Don't worry, I have everything under control," Colin said as Charlotte went back upstairs. He returned to the kitchen and got Evie out of her high chair. "Now now, you're alright," he said, sitting down with her on his lap and attempting once again to eat the meal he worked so hard to prepare.

Colin's mother walks into the kitchen and holds Evie.

"You don't need a doctor to tell you what's happenign"

She says going to get her purse. She rummages through and pulls out a sealed pregnancy test.

"I always carry one around. You never know when you'll need one."

She says with a bit of an evil smile.

I cuddle daddy sat on his lap crying as i want mommy. "Daddy why mommy wike this." I ask scared

Colin shakes his head and chuckles. "You're unbelievable," he says to his mother. "I'll have her take it tonight."

(Look back and it says that Colin got her out of the highchair.)
