Learning to Live as a Family (Open Roleplay)

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: no unfortunately not.

She says trying to figure out why she doesn't feel well.

Charlotte: It's probably coming to that time of the month. According to my calendar it should've come yesterday.

[justagirl4fun]

Colin has the brief thought that perhaps his wife is pregnant but quickly pushes it out of his mind. "Yeah, that's probably it," he says, rolling over and going to sleep.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte falls asleep around midnight her stomach still hurting. She wakes up in the morning to see all the girls have crawled onto the bed waiting for them to wake up.

Charlotte: Well merry Christmas girls. Honey wake up.

She says smiling and shaking Colin gently to wake him up.

Colin wakes up and sees the girls surrounding them. "Good morning. Are you all waiting for something?" he teases with a twinkle in his eye.

[Shy-Diapers]

Cora: It's Christmas!

I say excitedly not realizing im wet.

Cora: Come on, we have to go open presents!

[justagirl4fun]

"Okay, okay, everybody downstairs!" Colin says, grabbing the baby and following the older girls down.

[Shy-Diapers]

Cora runs downstairs excitedly and sits in front of the tree trying to decide what present to open first.

Charlotte follow behind Colin slowly still not feeling well.

Abbie ran down and started going through the presents, looking for hers. Kristyn stopped dead in her tracks when she saw the mountain of gifts. "Wow," she gasped, too surprised to move.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: Okay girls we usually have the oldest open their first present first,

Charlotte says managing to make it to the couch.

Charlotte: Hon, could you get the camera please?

[justagirl4fun]

"Got it right here, hon," Colin said, ready to capture the moment.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte pats the couch for her husband to sit down next to her,

Cora: I'll open this one first.

She says grabbing the one from Kristin. She opens it up and smiles then hugs her sister.

Cora: Thank you sissy! Can I hang it up uncle Colin?

[justagirl4fun]

"Of course you can," Colin says.

[Shy-Diapers]

I nod and hang up my new ornament on the tree.

Charlotte: Okay, Abbie your turn.

[justagirl4fun]

Abbie selects a box and tears it open to find a baseball glove and a softball. "Yeah!" she cheered, putting it on. "Just what I wanted!"

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: Kristin you can go ne-

She gets cut off by the feeling she's going to get sick so she heads to the bathroom.

Kristyn picks a present but sits holding it, unsure if it's okay to open it when Charlotte runs out of the room. Colin follows her."I'll be right back," he says to the girls. "Hon, are you okay?"

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte throws up multiple times into the toilet.

Charlotte: I still feel really nauseous.

She says holding onto the sink.

Charlotte: I don't think this is my period. I don't know what else it could be though.

She says before getting sick again.

"Well, the stomach bug is always going around this time of year," Colin suggests, holding Charlotte's hair back while she pukes.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: Thats probably it. Usually I don't get it. I thought I was immune. I guess I was wrong.

She says after she feels that she was done throwing up for now she goes to wash her face and rinse her mouth.

While Charlotte freshens up Colin goes to the kitchen and gets her a glass of ginger ale and some saltines. He sets them on the coffee table and waits for her to return to the living room.

[Shy-Diapers]

Cora: Is auntie Charlotte okay?

I ask before Charlotte returns and sits on the couch.

"Yes, I think she just has a touch of the stomach bug, like your sister had a few weeks ago. I'm sure she'll be fine in a day or two."

[Shy-Diapers]

Cora: okay

Charlotte: Im fine sweety. Kristin you can open your present now.

She says leaning into Colin a little feeling weak.

Colin puts an arm around Charlotte as Kristyn opens her present. "Ooo, it's a castle Lego set!" she squeals. "I can't wait to build it."

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: Okay girls now you can open the rest of your presents

She says once each girl has unwrapped their first. She takes a small sip of ginger ale.

Charlotte: Hon, my period is a week late.

She whispers to Colin making sure the girls don't hear.
