Abbie ran upstairs and quickly got dressed in red and white striped leggings, white long-sleeve tee with a candy cane applique and her name embroidered in green, and red and green pettiskirt. Charlotte had bought all three girls matching outfits to wear for Christmas card photos the month before. "I'm ready, mom! Can you do my hair?" she asked, handing Charlotte a big red and white hairbow.

Cora puts on some jeans and a long sleeve shirt. She sighs when she sees that Caitlin and Abbie are matching and are fancy knowing evil probably has the exact same outfit.

Charlotte: Okay Abbie come here

She says forming the girl's hair into a ponytail and putting the bow in

Charlotte: Colin why don't we get all the girls something Christmassy before we see Santa and when you take Cora and Kristin to do their shopping you can get them some more clothes too since they really don't have anything that's not summery

She says seeing her nieces feel out of place

"Okay. They really do need more things, I only got them a few tops and a few pairs of pants each." Colin finished cleaning up the kitchen and headed for the stairs. "Give me a few minutes, and I'll be ready to go." He went up and took a quick shower, got dressed and ran downstairs. "Everyone ready?"

Charlotte: Yep okay it's santa first then food then shopping and carosoul got it?

She says loading everyone into the van

Colin got in the driver's seat and turned on some Christmas music. "Okay, here we go!" he said cheerfully as he headed in the direction of the mall. When they got there he turned to Charlotte. "Okay, where to first? You said you want to get the girls Christmas outfits."

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: hmmmm

She looks over the girls and their sizes

Charlotte: We could probably get them all the same one at the children's place

"Okay." Colin drove around to the entrance nearest the Children's Place and parked. He got Evie out of her car seat and waited for everyone else to get out.

[Shy-Diapers]

I get out and follow everyone inside.

Charlotte: okay I have an idea everyone but evie can pick out one piece of clothing and if they all match that will be the outfit

She starts off

Charlotte: Cora you can pick the skirts Kristin the shirts Abbie the leggings and Caitlin the bows ready go!

She says as the girls run off

Kristyn looked around and selected red shirts with reindeer on them. Abbie picked brown leggings with little red stars on them.

Cora finds some red skirts with gingerbread men on them

Cora: Is this good?

She asks once the girls reunite

Charlotte: I think they'll be good theyre Christmassy thats for sure!

"Well, at least they're all red," Abbie says, not quite convinced that gingerbread men, reindeer and stars should all be in an outfit together.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: It's okay Christmas is all about being tacky!

She says grabbing each item in the girls sizes and paying for them

Charlotte: Who wants to see Santa?

"I DO I DO I DO!" Kristyn yelled, jumping up and down in circles around Charlotte.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: okay then

She says taking caitlin and Abbie's hands

Charlotte: Colon did you bring the lists Cora and Kristin made?

"Yes, I did," Colin said, holding Evie and taking Kristyn's hand.

[Shy-Diapers]

Charlotte: good I think it should be Kristin Cora Caitlin evil Abbie

She says as they get in line to see the mall santa

"Okay, sounds good," Colin said. They waited in line about half an hour before it was their turn. "Okay, Kristyn, go tell Santa what you want!"

[Shy-Diapers]

(I'll be Santa for everyone but Cora does that work?)

Santa chuckles a little at the excited girl on his lap.

Santa: and where are your parents sweety?

The Santa frowns a little and looks to the girls family.

Santa: Who brought you here today?

[justagirl4fun]

"My Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Colin," Kristyn said, resting her head on Santa's shoulder and playing with his beard.

[Shy-Diapers]

Santa looks at the girls family sympathetically not knowing what to say.

Santa: Santa will see what he can do okay precious?

[justagirl4fun]

"Okay! Thanks Santa!" Kristyn gave Santa a big hug and jumped off his lap so her sister could take her turn.

Charlotte: Poor guy didn't know what to say to her

She whispers to Colin while Cora walks up and sits on his lap

Cora: Hi Santa

She says quietly

[justagirl4fun]

"Well hello there little girl!" Santa said with a deep, jolly laugh. "What would you like for Christmas this year?"
