Learning to Live as a Family (Open Roleplay)

Colin drives, going a bit over the speed limit but makes it to the hospital without being pulled over. He gets Evie and hurries in to the emergency room. Luckily it is slow and they are immediately taken back to an exam room and given forms to fill out. Colin holds Evie while Charlotte fills out the paperwork.

I am still hokding the teddy bear crying sat in daddys lap.

Charlotte fills the forms.

Caiin sits with her cousins and sister worried

Kristyn whines sitting on an uncomfortable plastic chair while they wait for the doctor to come in.

[Shy-Diapers]

After a while i tug on Colin's pant leg needing to go to the bathroom not knowing where it is and not wanting to have another accident

Cora: daddy I need to go potty can you come with me?

I whisper so I don't sound like a little kid who can't go on her own

Cora: or have auntie come with me? I don't know where it is.

I say still whispering so only you can hear me

Colin is still holding the baby and doesn't want to move her unless necessary. "Honey, can you take Cora to the bathroom?" he asks Charlotte quietly.

I start getting desperate needing to go not only number one but also number two but I try to make it as invisible as possible that I need to go badly

"Sure." Charlotte says quietly as she takes acoras hand and leads her to the bathroom. "I will wait here for you." She says.

I am still screaming and crying.

[Shy-Diapers]

There is a decent line to the bathroom so I wait in line and as soon as there are only 3 people in front of me I lose all control right there and run out of the bathroom crying being so embarrassed I immediately cling to charlottes leg sobbing after having another accident not knowing what to do anymore.

"Cora its ok. Lets go get a clean pull up to put on you. There should be one in the diaper bag that will fit you and then lets get you cleaned up." Charlotte says

When Charlotte and Cora return to the exam room Colin sees what happened. "Maybe one of Kristyn's diapers will fit her for now," he says quietly to Charlotte, as Kristyn still has a bit of a chubby baby belly where Cora is as thin as a rail.

I cry and cry sat in daddys lap. My right arm purple.

Charlotte gets a diaper and takes Cora and changes her. She takes Cora back to the exam room where everyone else is.

I just stay quiet for the rest of the time feeling embarrassed and humiliated and no doubt like a toddler but not in a good way

Finally the doctor came in the room and examined the baby's arm. "We'll have to do x-rays to see how bad it is, but it is definitely broken. How did it happen?" he asked Charlotte.

[BabyGirlDaisy]

"Well Doctor she fell down the stairs after she tried running after her sister." Charlotte says.

I cry wriggling around in daddys lap not keeping still. The pain is horrible and bad.

"Okay, well let's get her up to radiology and see exactly what's going on. Which one of you would like to go with her?"

[BabyGirlDaisy]

"Colin you go with her." Charlotte says as she cuddles with the girls.

I am scarwd suckling my thumb on my good hand.

"Okay." The doctor has Colin set Evie on a gurney and she is strapped down to make sure she doesn't fall. A nurse starts an IV to give her pain meds and a light sedative to keep her still during the x-ray. They walk to the elevator and go up a few floors to radiology and return shortly after.

[Shy-Diapers]

My stomach growls loudly since I didn't get to eat breakfast but I don't say anything since im too shy to speak up and am afraid of getting in trouble.

Colin hears Cora's stomach grumble. "Honey, the kids haven't eaten yet. You want to take them to the cafeteria and I'll stay here with Evie?"

[BabyGirlDaisy]

"Evie will need a bottle. Theres one in the diaper bag." Charlotte says getting her purse and heading to the cafetria with the other girls. Ahe buys them all a drink and something to eat.

I lay on the gurney strapped down with an iv in my arm. I cry hungry

While the doctor puts the cast on Evie's arm, Colin holds her bottle so she can drink it. "We'll get you something to eat as soon as we're done here, okay baby?" he says soothingly.

Cora just takes a few small bites and doesn't drink anything afraid if she does she'll have another accident. After taking two more bites she hangs her head in shame of having three accidents within 24 hours not saying a word the who,e time meanwhile her cousins are talking non-stop which she doesn't mind.

Kristyn climbs up on Cora's chair and snuggles into her, sucking her thumb.

Cora doesn't even realize when her sister sits next to her being to worried about her accidents.
