I am the next to wake up as im hungry. I start crying.

Charlotte and the other as still asleep in bed

Colin peels off Cora's wet pajamas and runs a bath for her. Just as she gets in the tub he hears the baby crying. "Sweetie, I'll be right back, okay?" He runs downstairs and gets a bottle, then hands it to Evie as she sits crying in the crib. "Here baby, drink your milk and daddy will be back for you in a bit, okay?" He gives her a kiss and returns to the bathroom.

I sit in the crib suckling my bottle with tears rolling down my cheeks

Abbie wakes up and walks past the nursery, seeing Evie crying in her crib. She lowers the crib rail and gets the baby out, then holds her hand and leads her downstairs.

I holding the bottle in one hand whike holding Abbies hand walking downstairs. We are soon down and i look at my big sister

"I'm hungry. Are you hungry?" Abbie says to Evie. As Colin is busy with Cora and Charlotte is still asleep, the six-year-old grabs a loaf of bread from the pantry, then climbs up on the counter and drops 4 slices into the toaster. While she waits for the toast to be ready she puts Evie in the high chair and gets butter and orange juice from the fridge. "You want juice?" she asks, taking the empty bottle from the baby.

I nod as i sit in the highchair not buckled in. I start to slide and cry.

The toast pops up and Abbie stands at the counter buttering it.

"Abbie" i cry as i slide in my highchair as Abbie didnt buckle me in.

Abbie turns and sees Evie slipping. She quickly runs to her and sits her back up, buckling her in this time.

I sit in my highchair hungry

Cora: mommy and daddy died again and they said it was all my fault

I say through by tears trying to stop crying

Abbie finishes buttering the toast and cuts two pieces into quarters before putting them on the high chair tray. "I'd give you a banana but

"It's not your fault at all," Colin reassures Cora as he washes her up and gets her out of the tub. He leads her to her room, wrapped in a towel, and gets some clothes for her to wear. ""Okay sweetheart, you've had two accidents now. I'm not going to make you wear diapers, but if you would prefer it, we can get you some."

I whake my head before eating the toast. I get all messy from the butter as it drips all over my hands and on the traym

Cora eventually calms down when she's in Colin's arms

Cora: what do you think I should do daddy?

She says trying not to make the wrong decision about this

"Whatever makes you feel more comfortable," Colin says, thinking diapers, or at least pull-up diapers, would be the best option but not wanting to force her into something that might make her feel babyish. "We can wait and see if you have any more accidents before we make a decision if you'd like."

Cora: are pull-ups an option daddy?

She says feeling embarrassed about probably needing them at 8 years old

Cora: that way I can still use the big girl potty?

"Sure, if that's what you would like." Colin sees Kristyn awake and picks her up. Her head doesn't hurt any more but her tummy still does and just sits in his arms feeling miserable. "Now, let's get this one changed and then we can go get something to eat, okay? And after that we can go to the store to see what diapers you want."

Cora nods feeling embarrassed still

Cora: can we get ones that nobody will be able to see im wearing them? I don't wanna get teased

She blushes at saying that feeling more and more like a toddler

"Of course." Colin changes Kristyn's wet diaper and gets her dressed in jeans and a sweater. Then he picks her up and takes Cora's hand. "Okay, let's go eat. What would you like for breakfast?" he asks as they walk downstairs.

Cora: could I have French toast sticks please daddy?

She hopes she's not asking for too much considering how she's been behaving and how much shes needed her uncle Colin

Cora: if not I will eat cereal

"No, it's fine. I can make that." They walk to the kitchen where Abbie and Evie are finishing their toast. He sets Kristyn on a chair and gets out everything he needs. "Well, I see you two have eaten already, but I'm making french toast if you're still hungry. Now, why don't you guys go play and I'll call you when it's ready?"
