When they got home Mike changed Belle into her pajamas and let her lie on the couch, with a cool cloth on her forehead, so he could keep an eye on her to see if she got worse. He changed Daisy and put her down for a nap, then got lunch ready for the two older kids. While Jake and Poppy ate he joined Belle in the living room, cuddling with her on the couch.

"What's wrong, babydoll?" Mike asked, rubbing Belle's back when she started getting fussy.

Jake eats lunch and then comes and into the living room and puts the tv on a channel that he wants to watch.

I sleep upstairs wriggling from one end of the crib to the other

"Are you just hot, or do you hurt? What doesn't feel good?" Mike asked, trying to figure out what was wrong with his daughter.

Amelia arrived about 20 minutes later. "Hey sis, thanks for coming," Mike said, standing up and getting Belle into her coat and boots. "Hopefully we won't be long, but in case we have to stay, I've left money on the counter. Get whatever the kids want for dinner. Jake's bedtime is 9, Poppy's is 8 and although she may tell you otherwise she does have to wear a diaper to bed. Daisy is napping, and should sleep another half hour or so and will probably be hungry when she gets up. Call me if you need anything." He gave Poppy and Jake hugs, carried Belle to the car, and buckled her in. He'd grabbed a bucket on the way out and handed it to her in the car in case she had to throw up.

I slowly start to wake up at one end of the crib suckling on my thumb. Soon i am awake and soaked and i start crying.

Jake is downstairs watching tv with his sister and aunt.

"Aunt Amelia, Daisy's awake," Poppy hollered from the nursery, not wanting to pick the baby up and get yelled at. She she patted Daisy's back through the crib rails until Amelia got upstairs. Amelia checked Daisy's diaper, changed her and brought her downstairs for a bottle. "Can I feed her?" Poppy asked.

I pull Poppys nose thinking its a toy. I then start screaming and trying to get out of Poppys arms and i nearly fall onto the floor.

Poppy held tight to Daisy as she squirmed and screamed. "You better hurry, Aunt Amelia. I think she's really hungry."

I kick and scream trying to get away thats when Jake steps in and takes me ftom Poppy and gently pats my back and i burp. I thwn cuddle into him with my little head on his shoulder pulling his shirt.

"Hey, give her back!" Poppy yelled. "I didn't even give her her bottle yet. You always get to hold her and feed her!"

"No. You cant look after her. You didnt even know what she wanted and i did." Jake sats annoyed with Poppy. Hw continues holding me as he goes and sits on the couch watch tv.
