Recommended Posts

I live in Florida.

And yes my medical records are full of test for my bed wetting, so..

sense you live in the us have you applied on the ACA website www.healthcare.gov

it should tell you if you qualify for your states medicade or not

It sounds like your parents are more worried about your enuresis than you are. For their sake, keep making a visible effort to "fix" the problem, but direct the effort for your own benefit. By that I mean that I think it is likely that you will always wet the bed, but there are treatments for it that are either harmless or generally helpful to your general wellness. You can also set your mother's mind at ease with a girlfriend, since that.may be driving her worry.

A wetting alarm inside your protection falls in the harmless category. Hypnosis CDs (not necessarily directed towards bedwetting) fall in the helpful in general category. A discussion about sleep with a sleep specialist, and standard blood testing (look at vitamin D) are in the helpful category. T'ai chi, when taught as meditation can be very helpful, as can stress reduction meditation.

If the doctor suggests drugs, tell her about that brick wall and your poor fist, and tell her that you can't afford to hurt anyone. If she doesn't understand, or at least discuss alternatives, she is fired. Sympathetic doctors do exist. As for drugs: stuff that makes it harder to pee does exist. After three antidepressants that made it hard temporarily, my fourth, Lexapro, the effect doesn't seem to go away. II have also had difficult peeing on dicyclomine, which relaxes a tight spot in my gut, particularly when exercising. So a drug solution might exist for you.

Update:

Me and my parents are ok. I am working so I can now buy my own supplies and don't have to ask for money. As far as the frequency of my bed wetting it has increased now that I am working. A good thing is that I found an awesome medical supply store just a short drive from me that carries molicare so it is a lot easer to get supplies..

Good to hear you are working. There are lots of good diapers in the world besides molicare, but they are most easily purchased online. Then there are those here that swear that a cloth diaper and waterproof pants is the only way to keep the bed dry. Llmedico, which advertises on this site can sell you some nice PUL(polyurethane laminate) pants for the job.

How are the back aches doing? That's worth getting a physical therapist to show you exercises for.
