I find it annoying to click a thread in this section only to find out it's been necro bumped. Something sounds so good and then I find out it's only six months old so it's very likely that item is gone. On another forum I go to, sometimes the mods lock a thread that has been necro bumped because the OP had been inactive so they are very unlikely to see the new advice and the situation they talked about has likely been resolved. Perhaps the mods can do the same here. I remember a few years back, a thread got necro bumped and a drama started in it because of a post that was made a few years before and then someone bumped it and people saw that old post and replied to it all in anger and the user wasn't even on the forum and hadn't been active. The thread got removed as I was reading it. We did have mods for a while there that would just remove threads than locking them.
