Fleece Cloth Diapers

Recommended Posts

I've noticed a significant amount of fleece baby diapers are for sale these days however I have been unable to find them in adult sizes. Does anybody know where I may find them? If so, thoughts on them? Ive always been into disposables but am curious about fleece. Thanks!

There are a couple of sellers on etsy that sell them. I'm going to ask for a couple for Christmas :) If you purchase some, just make sure that you purchase ones that have a PUL layer. I have a couple that are fleece on the outside, but dont have a PUL layer, and they leak if they are flooded.

I just wanted to share what I ended up finding and getting. I found a fleece lined all in one cloth diaper with a layer of PUL sewn into it. I was absolutely amazed how absorbant it was even without an insert. Amazingly comfortable as well. I've tried cloth, gauze, and flannel cloth diapers and fleece is absolutely the only way to go.

I purchased one from the same seller. It ended up being too small, but the construction was fantastic. I have it up for sale if anyone is interested.

I'll probably order another that is slightly larger.

Diaper fabrics are available online. I buy diaper flannel and birdseye through fabric.com. You have to be careful when selecting cloth diapering products. Some materials are not meant to be placed directly on your skin because they will dry you out, which causes chapping and possibly diaper rash. There are two types of diaper fabric: Those that ABSORB, and those that WICK--pull moisture away from your skin. Be sure always to get fabric meant to do what you want it to do. You can also combine layers of fabric to keep you dry and absorb wetness. Polyurethane laminate (PUL) makes great diaper covers, and with a pattern meant to fit your body dimenstions, you can make your own like I do.
