dprtodd
Waist size alone is insufficient for determining diaper size. This is a common mistake folks make when buying diapers and can lead to wasting money on a product that doesn't fit. Your hip and thigh sizes are very important (perhaps more so than waist) in making this decision as diapers are secured on the hips. That is to say the diapers are held up on the sides and they rest on top of hip, where as normal underwear is held up at the waist by it's elastic band. I have large legs relative to my waist so I generally buy up a size in diapers or I'll have trouble with the bottom tapes. Secure, Bambino, Active, run on the small side as the legs are cut very tight, My guess would be to try a large and if they are too big step down to a medium. Perhaps you want to order a sample of each size first? Link to comment
MLGTexas84
My wife and I both wear Secure Personal Care: X-Pluses. These are by far the best quality diapers we have found. For a 38 waist I recommend the Large size. http://securepersonalcare.com/briefs-xplus-adult-diaper-c-1_2.html I wear a size 34 pants and a Medium in this diaper, but I don't have much "growing room". Hope that helps, Link to comment
