Apostrophe'S Cause Problem'S With S'S?

So, check out the story section. There's like three stories up that have words that end in an apostrophe and an "s." And all of those 's's appear to be capitalized. Is this just a common typo or board software developing a little personality?

Apostrophes in title added for testing purposes. When I typed 'em, they were lower-case.
