Need Help With Sizing For Prefold Gauze Weave Cotton Diapers

I would like to get some of these diapers from the All Together Diaper Company via Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Adult-Prefold-Diaper-Cotton-Weight/dp/B00015R4S0/ref=pd_rhf_shvl_5

I have a 40 inch waist and 44" hips. The medium is up to 42" and the large is up to 52". Doesn't the gauze shrink? Should I get large?

Large is your best bet...and these diapers are a great blast from the past. After a few washes they get so soft. Don't forget some nice soft plastic pants. Save some money and get some 26 X 26 or so baby diapers for stuffers..you'll be in heaven!
