babyvr6
except Medicaid is a federal program, not a state program. Yes, but the individual states are responsible for managing how the funds are spent. So if one state spends too much on hookers and blow, for instance, said state may need to cut funding elsewhere. spoonchicken
If you wish to experience gov't budget problems, move to California. Things really suck out here these days. The "Golden" State? More like the Golden Shower state, and the taxpayers are on the wet end of the problem.... 1 Link to comment
diaperboyMKE
Ohh well, guess they'll just have to pay (through the ass) for health care like I do. I dunno, I just get smitten when the guy in front of me picks up his prescriptions for free (I pay $140 a month for ADD medication that I could NOT live with out) Even with good insurance, SOMEONE has to pay for the meds, but to see people on govt programs, or with Caddilac plans go to the Dr every 5 min when their throat is scratchy pisses me off. I bust my ass 65 hours a week, pay more in taxes than any of my friends and I have to pay almost full price for pills. ARRG. Link to comment
