I had a 4 hour Amtrak layover yesterday, and added the CTA Brown Line to my list of end-to-end route journeys along with the southern half of the Red Line. What? You don't have a "life list" of subway/underground lines?

Anyway... I knew this was going to be a long trip and the CTA is kinda short of toilets. My 3-Tape Depends held up like a champ and made the whole ride fun rather that the last-hour-is-hell-I-have-to-pee!! thing that often happens.

That is why the Red Line always smells like pee. I don't wear them on the El but bringing several packs on to sit next to me gets lots of looks.

I do the Amtrak NE corridor in diapers all the time. The train bathrooms aren't too bad, but the ones at Penn Station in NY are the pits, though the best ones there are in the LIRR waiting room.
