Cynthia'S New Home

[baby_snow_white]

"Well I disagree with you. We are seeing this issue from different points of view."

[robehouse]

"I agree. I am seeing it as a mommy who wants to protect her little girl. You're seeing it as a little girl who wants to be free."

"Where is Molly?"

[baby_snow_white]

"You are right mommy. I am seeing it as a little girl who doesn't want to be tied down."

Fran shrugs. "I don't know. She was suppose to be counting and I haven't seen her since."

[robehouse]

"And you don't have to worry about it. I might put you in a stroller, but I won't use a leash."

Melanie raises her voice.

"That's too bad. How would you two like a cookie? It's too bad Molly is going to miss out."

[baby_snow_white]

"Well that is slightly better, but still limited the freedom of the child."

Cynthia and Fran raise their voices too. "We would like a cookie. but why are we talking so loud?" There was no response from Molly.

[robehouse]

"Better limited freedom than the child getting hurt or killed."

Melanie lowered her voice again.

"I don't know why you are, but I was trying to draw Molly out of her hiding place."

Melanie took Cynthia and Fran down to the kitchen and gave them each two cookies and poured them each a glass of milk.

[baby_snow_white]

Cynthia shrugs. "I guess."

Fran giggles. "We was doing it. Because you did it." She looks around. "I guess it didn't work."

Cynthia and Fran nibbled

[robehouse]

Melanie looks around.

"No I guess it didn't." Sighs Melanie.

As the girls ate their cookies, Melanie stepped outside.

"Molly! are you out here!" Melanie called out.

[baby_snow_white]

Natasha hears Melanie calling Molly and comes upstairs. She goes outside. "If you are looking for Molly. She is downstairs taking a nap. Did she mess up something of Cynthia's?"

[robehouse]

"No, I was just wondering where she was. She and Fran were playing hide and seek and Molly disappeared. I was just worried she got lost. I didn't think of checking downstairs."

"A nap sounds pretty good right now. Not just for the girls, but for myself as well."

[baby_snow_white]

Natasha nods. "Oh I didn't know she was playing with Fran. I thought she had went to sleep laying face down on the couch upstairs. So I brought her downstairs to put her down for the rest of her nap."

She laughs. "Good luck in getting Cynthia down for a nap. She is too high strung to stay down for a nap. You are going to need a big watch key to unwind her enough to get her to take a nap."

[robehouse]

"Well she probably did fall asleep while playing and needed a nap. She's a growing girl."

"Well maybe she can have quiet time in her room with Fran. I can dream, can't I?"

[baby_snow_white]

Natasha nods. "Yes she is. Molly isn't use to this much playtime. She didn't have anyone to play with before we moved here and Cynthia didn't want to play with her once we got here."

"Yeah I guess you can dream and if she gets quiet. She might fall asleep on her own."

[robehouse]

"I'm glad Molly has someone to play with then. If you want, I can have Cynthia play with her more. A little at a time so it builds up and she can play longer with Fran and Cynthia both."

"Yeah, maybe. that would be the only way."

[baby_snow_white]

"I would like that and I'm sure Molly would too, but I don't think Cynthia will want to play with her. She hasn't so far and I don't think you making her is going to change anything."

[robehouse]

"I don't know why Cynthia stopped wanting to play with Molly. It was going fine for awhile and then suddenly she wouldn't have anything to do with her. Maybe it had something to with you and Molly moving in downstairs. I wish she would play with her. At least Fran does."

[baby_snow_white]

"That could have been it. Cynthia might have thought it was only under I got out of the hospital and then Molly would be gone. When we moved in downstairs. She realized that Molly was here to stay for a while anyway."

[robehouse]

"At least Fran is willing to play with Molly. What kind of toys does Molly have downstairs to play with?"

[baby_snow_white]

"I'm glad Fran will play with her. Molly has a doll and a teddy bear that she has had since she was born. That is about it. Everything else was destroyed in the fire."

[robehouse]

"That's a shame. She needs more toys. Maybe I can find some of Cynthia's toys that she no longer plays it and let Molly have them.

[baby_snow_white]

"That would be nice, but do you think you can get Cynthia to part with some of the toys she doesn't play with? She doesn't seem to know what the concept of sharing is. Cynthia seems to be more of a hoarder."

[robehouse]

"You're probably right. But I can try. Maybe reason with her that it would be better if someone plays with the toys if she doesn't"

[baby_snow_white]

"I guess it is worth a shot. The worse that could happen is she says no and will not share with Molly."

[robehouse]

"Well if she doesn't, I'll figure something else out. Molly should have toys to play with, especially if Cynthia doesn't want to play with her."

[baby_snow_white]

"Hopefully it will not come to that and you can get Cynthia to learn to share."
