This isn't exactly the same phenomenon as being recruited to test diapers, but, a couple of years ago, Rearz was looking for volunteers to assist with a Halloween party they were hosting at their warehouse, which is not too far from where I live. I had been to one of their Halloween parties a few years before, and enjoyed it, but then the Pandemic ended large public gatherings for a couple of years. Finally, Rearz was reconvening the event, and, on top of that, they wanted help... I was really intrigued by the idea. I'm in a Rearz product close to every day - there are days where I might wear something from NorthShore and then, I don't know, maybe a Bambino, but both of those are relatively exotic - the core of baby pants wardrobe is provided by Rearz. Alas, I had a business trip come up that prevented both my attending, and/or participating in the event, and they haven't scheduled an in-person one since.
