Luckily, I don't have to worry about privacy since my wife knows, so I can have anything I want shipped to the house without worries.. but I can imagine it would be a major concern for people! I've noticed that some companies "mask" the return address on the box, and credit card statement with something like an acronym, for example Bambino's does this.

The problem is.... they LIST the acronym on their website! Well, along comes google's search spiders, and this cleaver acronym get's indexed! SO, if your nosy neighbor, doorman, mother, UPS man, wants to see what your ordering, a simple google search for the acronym on the box brings you right to the site! They might as well put "Adult Sized Baby Fetish Disposable Diapers" on the label

I think this acronym should be a well guarded secret, and efforts should be taken to prevent it from being listed where google can easily pick up on it.

Bambino's lists this acronym on their site in the FAQ where they talk about privacy, if they really wanted to protect privacy and prevent google from indexing, it would be as simple as posting the acronym that will show up in an image, instead of plain text.

Sadly the only reason I know this is because I'm nosy, and because of all my interesting "quirks" I know that other people might be interested in similar things, so when boxes come, I've been known to google the "from" name, especially if it's suspiciously "masked" as an acronym. Unfortunately, to date, I have still yet to "catch on" to another DL using this method. But one can only dream, right?

My neighbors are smart enough that they know not to mess around with my mail or any deliveries. But I do agree with you for other people who aren't as "mouthy" as I am or physicaly intimidating.

Seriously gang..you look farther into things than need be....I know I have nothing better to do than check my neighbors shipments and mail. Then again there are those that still believe 9-11 was a conspiracy! It's just crazy..anyway If your neighbors, friends or family have nothing better than to spy on you, perhaps you should look up a fun website with some serious Ramifications, and ship yourself a fake package with their return address, give them something to really talk about.!!! If it's so bad..then perhaps you shouldn't be doing it..just a thought.

I'll agree 100%. I've had Molicare cases delivered to me while I was at work with my neighbor being home all day. Most people coudl careless let alone take the time to sit there and examine a box. Who is to say the contents are what is labled on the box?

hell my room mate's hobby is repairing old timey radios and get this one day some one sent him a part he needed for one in the only box the guy had and the box was one of those that Kendall Diapers come in i mean i knew it wasn't diapers because of how heavy it was but looks can be deceiving so while i knew it wasn't diapers some one else might think other wise but your right people really don't care in whats other peoples packing unless your in jail and none of us are so .....

I have a friend who lives in a large building, and his wife is active in local government and he works for a school. So he's got to be extra careful because there are people who would love to damage her.

soo what can a fetish do to you if you work with children

in my old town, a couple who were both busdrivers posted a very discrete add on a swingers personal site. Some child's parent came across that add, brought it to the bus driver's boss and both drivers were fired, course the official reason was something lame, but that was really why.

it was a big scandal how the bus drivers were swingers... andno one seemed the least bit curious why the kids Parent was on that website!!!

working with children or in the public eye is very hard, because anything you do that isn't consider kosher, normal, etc...etc... can get you fired. Again it will never be the reason used to fire you, as thats illegal, but when lay offs come around, or you do something wrong, suddenly you find yourself out of a job.

And working politics, everyone just loves a good political scandal.

Truth and rights have less and less to do with what happens in this world. We live in a "say and it's true" culture. If you want to ruin someone, all you have to do is say something - anything - and it will stick enough to get them in hot water. Oh sure, they could turn around and sue you, I suppose, but really we've gotten quite pathetic about this sort of thing.

I think we here like to think the world is a really tolerant place and that we have lots of rights...I'm not so sure that's really true. And it seems to me, our tolerance in general is shrinking when it comes to silly, stupid things that have no connection to reality. Anyone else have opinions??

First of all the media is unchecked. Can you imagine if someone in local media had a beef with her, and they caught wind that her husband was into diaper play? It's not illegal, and to anyone on THIS board it's not immoral, but to a majority of the public, it's a serious sickness that makes you a threat to society.

You might not be let go based on lack of illegal activity, but the fact that you work with children, and the 'gen-pop' might look at you as some sort of pedo because you like diapers, they'd LOVE to sink their teeth into a news story like this.. It'd ruin your life.

well put! When in all reality, it's the quiet ones who keep their "isms" to their selves that you have to worry about. Some of the coolest people I know, and would trust with my kids... are 'freaks' in their private life.

Maybe not so much to a guy who works in a big factory and doesn't have many friends at work... but to someone who's affluent in their community (teacher, judge, police officer, little league coach, etc) everyone expects you to be squeeky clean, and live a "churchy" life. Any little fleck of "dirt" in your personal life, or your past, and people was to exploit that as if you're the newest reality show. hell i agree with this but what most people don't realize is every one has some sort of fetish either it be diapers or hell gasp even porn can be considered as a fetish to some people . Then again people use things like this for the spot light. It goes both ways. If you found out that the presidential elector you were voting for had a vomit fetish would that change your mind when you agree with thier political views? It certainly wouldn't change mine. I don't give a sh*t what some one does inside of thier home and private life as long as it is not forced on me or my family. Most people feel the same. But knock on my door and try to jam crap down my throat is different. Media will ALWAYS focus on the bad things because that is what we all like to read about.
