Ok where do I start? I have had problems for 4 years now. been to the Uroligist. He said that I had "Over Active Bladder" and "Urge"

I have

1}bed wetting but not every night

2}Urge "I have to go right now" If i don't look out!

3} Have to go very often all the time

They did a ton of test and found nothing other than the enlarged prostate.

I now get PSA once a year but no Cancer

They put me on Vesicare but it made me sick.So the wife and I sat down and Now I no longer take the meds but wear 24/7.

I am happy diapered but realy sick of changing or needing to change at in opertune times.

It is not that bad since I can run to the bath when at home and make it and not wet the diaper most of the time! But going out = diaper and bringing change with me.

The only ones that know are

1}Primary care doctor

2}Urologist

3}My wife

Even though I have worn for 4 year now I do cheat every now and then and wear undies with pads but thats just a mess waiting to happen.

It is a 50/50 chance.

Even though I have no real hang ups wearing,Buying them I hide that I do, "since it is an old persons thing" and the world feals as though it is dirty to pee ya self! "

For the last 4-6 weeks I will go and then right after have the fealing I have to go.Thats something new! So I will return to the bathroom but nothing I dont need to go! So fealing like I neeed to go and going back in there few times with nothing I say ok. But later uncontroled I pee in the diaper.

Yea I have that gotta go, gotta go fealing like the commercial

I also have found out I have problems with my disk{neck}pinched nerves pain in back ect... But have not told the doctor seeing me that I wear

Hell I hate going to any Doctor In a Diaper. Drop ya pants and get a shot?Take ya pants short off to get an exam and they see ya have a Diaper on :o Yea I never got over the fealing of being seen in them Even though I need them. Am I being Crazy for Not telling this new Doctor?

Thanks for letting me vent.

I have lots of the same symptoms as you do, e.g. night wetting but not every night, needing to go right after I have been and having to go very often etc etc. It does get to be a problem, and I worry about it if I'm not wearing a nappy.

I've not been to the doctor though, I'm not sure that they can do much for me?

Ya GOTTA tell your doctor everything. They see everything ALL the time. It won't phase them. They'll think nothing of it. It's just another day in the office and you definitely won't be the only person that they see that day with incontinence who has to wear diapers. You ESPECIALLY need to tell a neurologist or back specialist. The consequences for non-disclosure are potentially robbing yourself of a treatment that could make the situation more manageable for you. They won't even bat an eyelash. People who deal with spinal injuries on a daily basis are going to see lots of incontinence cases. Just tell them.

Think about it this way. How many patients does the doctor see in a week or even a given day? They're not even going to remember. It's just data in a chart.

Best wishes.

As for the symptom you mentioned of feeling like you have to go pee after going pee, but don't have any more pee to come out. I experience this myself occasionally except that if I try hard to go again I get something besides pee that comes out. My primary care doctor wasn't sure about what it could be.. and wanted me to see a specialist.. which never happened. Some good old fashion googling turned up that other people were experiencing this as a side effect of one of the medications I take. But since the medication is more important then the side effects its not worth doing anything about and have just dealt with it. Also doing certain things helps to mitigate it from happening.

I have all your original symptoms except enlarged prostate and was written up for codes on OAB, urge, frequency, incontinence, and one you did not list retention which makes the overall capacity shrink. Dietary changes including limited coffee, tea, soda, beer, some fruit juices etc. did help.

Later when in for back problems was told that any incontinence or shooting pains because of my back were cause for

concern. So you may want to report to your dr.

Being in healthcare - I would say do not hide anything from your doctor. You can easily end up with unnecessary tests, procedures and missed or wrong diagnosis. Patients should get out of the habit of deciding what is important or significant in terms of information relayed to healthcare providers - what you think maybe insignificant may lead to the correct diagnosis and treatment (if any).

Ditto Above, Put your humility aside and go for the health aspect. They have seen it all. I was in a state that required a medical exam before marriage. Unfortunately the person that gave me their doctor for a referral failed to mention she was female. She had to check my "mister" for drainage?.. She didn't say a word, I didn't either.

P.S. I passed the test. :P
