Saschadzg
Hello, The heroes of my childhood were Pippi Longstocking, a girl from a Swedish film and children´s book: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pippi_Longstocking: Another Hero was the Red Zora, from a German children´s book and TV-series: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_rote_Zora_und_ihre_Bande (sorry, only German) and English: http://cerebraljetsam.wordpress.com/2007/0...hood-nostalgia/ I am the strong version of Pippi or Zora. Kvetinka PS: Red headed girls rule, and mobbing in school was envy! Link to comment
Repaid1
Wow..I remember Pipi, went to all her movies..haven't heard about that in quite a while. For whatever reason inside one cabinet at our house was stickers..it started with Chiquita banana stickers and stuff we kids would put there. It evolved to sour patch kids and there is even a Sticker of Pipi..in the south seas, we got as a souvenir at the theater. How the Heck did she lift that horse? I know it seems a bit cliche..but back when I was a kid I always looked up to the men of the Olympics. Mark Spitz, Bruce Jenner..I oggled at Mary Lou Retton as well. I used to think that these people were super human. I guess in a way they are. Go Golden Boy ...Mark Phelps..Now that guy has to be a inspiration to today's youth. 10 thousands of a second..Weeew.that was CLOSE!.. 7 Gold Medals ..one to go! Edit: Make it 8 Golds...beat that China!!! Link to comment
tenderheart
I idolized characters from cartoons quite often as a kid. Teenage mutant ninja turtles, care bears of course. It kinda depends on my age as a kid but I also looked up to pete in pete's dragon. I <3 that movie hehehe I should watch that movie again now that I'm thinking about it. Link to comment
