PampersPete
I was just sitting here on the computer checking out my groups on MySpace. My GF is watching the CBS show NUMB3RS and there was a reference regarding something called"The Beer and Diapers Theory". It's mostly about data mining. So I looked up the theory up thinking it was just bullshit but it's not. Or is it? Hard to tell and I've got to work soon. Apparently the theory goes like this: 7-11 did some data mining and found out that on Thursdays and Saturdays, men who bought beer also bought diapers(for the baby ) so they did an experiment and supposedly found out that it was true. After moving some diapers closer to the liquor aisle, sales of diapers skyrocketed. The basis for the theory's success....As a reward for having to buy juinor some Pampers, they bought a 6er of their favorite brew. Link to comment
diapered charles
I learned about that in my marketing class last semester. So, there is some truth to it. Link to comment
Guest
Are they sure Junior just doesn't wet more when he's drunk? I know my diapers were available like that, I'd probably pick up a few extra when I get beer. Link to comment
