  1. Out of all the stories so far, I think my favorite part for any room is the hidden room that is the nursery in this one. That is something not easily done in others (although there is some magic in the others) where it would fit the theme. Something like that would be perfect for when visitors came as it could be easily hidden.

What BJE pointed out does make sense unless she had been changed by then (Been a long time since I read the story) about CH 29 her being in a crawler nappy and then running off in CH 32.

  2. I don't understand how that could ruin the story either. Every story I have read so far has been good. When Patrion did it's purge I did stop subscribing on everything, took that as an opportunity to just wait it out. I haven't started reading LiL 2 yet. I do miss the discussions in the Discord and watching you get teased some, but the stories, every one of them has been a work of art.

    Thank you for sharing them.

  3. That is a ton to take in from one chapter, with so much answered. I'm on the train with @BabySofia that it seems like the story will be coming to a conclusion soon, as well, of course, the brother gets what is coming to him in prison.

Aiden had to have known something was going on and that is the reason he kept sending the post cards pretending to be Hortensia's father.

If that was spiked alcohol they had gotten a hold of all those years ago, maybe with everything finally coming to light, Carol could get her license back. They felt she may have stolen the pills or tried to commit suicide. Their story doesn't hold water now that things are becoming clearer. Maybe not, but I can be hopeful anyway. If she does I would hope she stayed at the school to continue helping the kids there.

  4. I'm liking this thus far and I had an idea that is what they were insinuating. If he did go through with it then would he really need the money they are offering? Also it seems like they aren't really giving him much of a choice. They have kind of manipulated all this, so will he really get to make the choice or has it already been made for him? I am guessing that baby wouldn't have any of the memories.

I can tell by the asking of all the questions that they were wanting to see if he believed in all couples regardless should have an equal chance at raising a child.

I am sure there is another hook somewhere coming up.

frantically dashed into the bedroom. The bathroom

I'm guessing dashed from, or it should be into the bathroom. ?

    Edit:
Just finished the chapter. A lot of emotions and a lot of feel goods. I do suspect that Lisa and her friends will help her being okay with those feelings of wanting a pacifier, or being more comfortable with diapers until they at least find out what the test results were. Maybe she will be okay with the better pull ups during the day and a diaper at night. Lisa's family is being very supporting. I suspect Sarah may wait to tell her friends everything for when she can do it all at once.

You captured her struggle really well. The internal dialogue, what she would like to say and why she didn't. This has to be one of my favorite stories.

I think there's a chance for one more twist. It didn't seem right to me that Sarah would have to move to another state without saying goodbye to her friends. She might be going to Lisa just to do that before catching a flight to Wisconsin. This can still go either way.

Before I read the next chapter this was my thought as well. I do really hope that she is going to stay with Lisa

We don't know why Samantha likes it. She claimed she didn't understand why either, but that private chat with Lisa either brought the truth out, or uncovered it for her. Either way, she enjoys being babied for her own reasons.

Maybe we'll get to read about Samantha telling Sarah about what she likes and what she told Lisa to help and then the audience will get to find out.

Keep in mind eSports players make as much now as many professional athletes. It's a skill set like anything else, and those who have focused and honed it can do quite well.

@MinnesotaWriter Good chapter and I'm glad you're giving her a choice. I don't think either is perfect, and hate seeing the sisters getting split up. I'm glad her younger sister has a better longterm placement option though. Sarah is at least going to have minimal time left before becoming an adult, so in some ways it makes sense to keep her where she has a support system. The uncle has a strong possibility of being an ally with getting caught up with her education too.

I hope she gets to meet with Lisa and her uncle prior to making a decision one way or another. Thanks for the great story!

Just read all chapters and that mom was a bitch, she pissed me off. I wonder if it was Lisa that tipped her uncle off and he called the police for a welfare check because of lot of absences and bag grades and her sleeping in school, then disappearing. I wonder if they will ever reunite again and Sarah comes clean about her medical issues.

MW has said that it wouldn't have been due to not being at school as she was properly enrolled for homeschooling. The latest chapter did touch on that by saying it doesn't look like she has been doing schoolwork (if I am remembering that right.) I do think it was Lisa or family that tipped them off. They used false pretenses which they then discovered the other treatment.

The one Amanda had picked out for me was a couple of years old

Didn't Amanda ask her to pick out her dress and that is what she ended up picking out? Or did she ask her to pick one out but then ended up picking that out instead?

    Love that line!

    So, Jane,

You put the quote after Jane instead of So, which made it sound like So Jane, instead of So,

Now that I feel like I picked the chapter apart.. lol
Thoroughly enjoyed that one which answered a lot of questions. I was thinking she wasn't going to mention the fall (I am mis remembering because I thought it was cheer-leading, not gymnastics) but she did since she was told any little thing helps (which also helped my brain get back up to speed lol).

You have a talent for writing and keeping us engaged through the story. I was looking forward to this chapter today, and it turns out it was with good reason. I also feel lucky that we get the full chapter since you don't have to break it up. This is a story I could se myself re-reading once it is all done.

    Chapter 58: Nightmare on Christmas

The first was that the stockings came before any of the presents. Emilia and I both had one with our name on it. Once we had gone through our stockings and perhaps snacked on some of the candy in them, we were to take turns opening our presents. ((You mention opening presents here, then next paragraph you mention breakfast, then presents again))

That would be followed by breakfast, which was always cinnamon rolls. Then, after the presents, there was a marathon of Christmas movies to watch. In other years, I would slip off to play video games on my computer. That wasn't an option with how I was grounded. I think Mom was more likely to make an exception to my rules to force me to watch a bunch of Hallmark movies with her than allow me to play video games.

MW, In this part of the paragraph, it sounds like they do stockings then open presents, then have breakfast and finish presents. It doesn't reflect later in the chapter, that they do stockings, then eat, then do presents, then watch movies. It could be just me, but it didn't seem to flow right?

The video camera was one Christmas tradition I had completely forgotten about.

I turned away from the camera, but the damage was already done. For the rest of my life, every time Mom replayed this Christmas tape, there would be stark evidence of this period in my life.

@BabySofiaThis part is what made me think VCR. "every time Mom replayed this Christmas tape"

Is it really something that's a tape? My personal guess is the author is using the same type of terms I use for it when I record still. Most likely everything is recorded on an SD card and either in the camera (most likely) or in the computer where she was storing it.

(Personally, I haven't used even a Mini DV tape now for well over a decade!)

I thought I remember reading camcorder.

Mom might be able to escape the immediate prosecution, but they will know who she is.

Unless there is a major FU, an LEO is securing that house the moment they spotted Sarah.  I'm guessing that law enforcement was present when they raided the house, and unless it's hidden very well, the evidence will be found.  Even Saul Goodman ain't touching Mom to defend her.

I haven't checked the last page of replies yet, but there is a chance that tape is in the VCR right now. She did mention her mom liked to watch the tapes even during non holiday season. That is the latest one and she could be watching that one to see more of how Emilia is growing up beyond her sister, at least in her mom's eyes.

I think the mother has something effed up inside her mentally to do what she is doing. This seems well beyond narcissism. I would like to hope that she isn't inherently this evil.

It's okay, I've also missed other replies lol. I don't know how home schooling works though but I imagine you're right and they would need reports on progress.

But I still think someone, like one of her friends, would get worried before too long. Maybe the CPS investigation took some time.

That is what I am really hoping for, that Lisa realized something that day in the Mall, and with her saying she was grounded and lost everything, Lisa would be able to tell she was diapered wearing clothing she normally wouldn't with a diaper, and talk to her Uncle. Then it was just CPS having to be able to make a case. The information they were told may have been limited and not know about the current incontinence as it wasn't relevant. I can't wait to find out what the next chapters reveal.

Edit: Spark slipped a reply between

That is also a good point. Murdered or locked in a room like have been in articles.

Luckily we know that isn't the case since MW said it would be too cruel. It's entirely possible for a single winter to see drastic shifts in temperatures. I'm personally seeing it myself where I live lol.

Right? We have been in single digits at night and next week looking at 50s and 60s.

I missed that part in his replies, been a lot to keep up on outside of story and sometimes I can miss something right in front of me when looking. I swear things go invisible just to mess with us sometimes. It could possibly be spring just before summer which would be plausible as the school wouldn't have gotten in any results from testing. I am not exactly sure how homeschooling works but I think they have to do periodic reports?

MW must have had a lot of fun writing the chapters knowing we would all be speculating.
