    Lucy looked at Mary a little shyly, she found the young woman nice but not knowing her for a lot of time the little girl was still a little wary then she hid behind her dad making Mary smile “Lucy know you that I don’t eat little girls” she said smiling and getting down to look her eyes “specially those cute like you” she said making a caress on her cheek “ah I found it! What if I showed you how I make ice cream? Rather better we will prepare it together. What do you think about?” she propose her hoping to convince her. “and can we prepare a bit for daddy?” the little girl asked Mary with a shy smile “Only he is good. Ok?” Mary said smiling at the girl who giggled doing yes with her little head “Then Mark be good or no Ice cream!... Did you understand?” Mary said to Lucy’s father showing her forefinger with a playful tone of voice.

    "I'm not sure if she has this kind of experience, but she worked as a babysitter for four years. All the parents who hired her were satisfied, and the children adored her," she explained, smiling at her friend. Nestling against him, she put her thumb in her mouth as her dad carried her out of the bathroom. She settled herself on one of the big footstools she liked so much, eagerly awaiting Mary to serve the ice cream she had prepared. "Here you go, little gourmand," Mary said, serving the ice cream to the little girl, who immediately began to eat it. "And for you? Would you like a coffee?" Mary asked as she retrieved a cup from the shelf. "Maybe for my sister, Rose," Mary replied after a brief moment of thought. "She hasn't started college yet, so she's practically free. She adores children and is excellent at taking care of them. She babysits to help pay for her studies." she explained as she filled her friend's cup. "I'm not sure if you have her phone number, but if you don't, I can give it to you right away," she added, taking her cellphone from her apron pocket.

    Lucy allowed her dad to help her change clothes, shivering slightly from the cold as he went to fetch something to clean her. Even though she felt quite small as her dad cared for her like a toddler, she didn't feel embarrassed. The little girl nodded softly, feeling a bit uncomfortable when her dad mentioned seeing another doctor. She didn't like the idea of being poked and prodded by adults in white coats again. Her previous experience had left her a bit traumatized, and she didn't want to go through it again. "Dad, I promise to be good," she reassured him. "That accident happened because that mean Antony pushed me and made me fall to the ground," she explained, trying to downplay it. Her dad helped her put on her favorite pants and finish dressing her. Aunt Mary was nice, especially because she had managed to comfort Lucy after that awful day. Lucy wanted to stay with her, but she had doubts about whether Aunt Mary could handle her."

" Can I have chocolate, please?" the little girl asked shyly. "Of course, Lucy!" Mary said with a big smile, taking a cup and scooping three servings of ice cream. "Since you've had a very bad day, it's on the house," the woman said with a smile, looking at Mark. "Would you like some caramel too?" "Yes, please!" Lucy replied with a shy smile. "Okay," Mary commented sweetly, adding caramel to the ice cream and a sprinkle of colorful sprinkles, knowing how much children liked them. Then Lucy took her daddy's hand and followed him to the bathroom while Mary continued to do her work.

    Daniel entered Susan's room quietly, his gaze fixed on the floor. He slowly approached the Amazon bed and gingerly let himself be helped to seated down on her gigantic bed.     "Laura asked her sister, who was flipping through channels with the remote control, 'How about an old-style comedy?' Her sister then returned to the living room with a tray containing a bottle and two plastic glasses."

    "Pizza should arrive in about 15 minutes," Laura told her sister. "Would you like something to drink while we wait?" she asked while opening the fridge. "I see that we have some chinotto!" Laura said, taking the bottle and offering her sister a glass.

    Laura smiled, happy to see her sister excited before returning to her book. She read two pages, and then her sister said that she had finished. "Okay, let's take a look," she said, examining her sister's notebook with care. "You did well. Good girl!" Laura said, gently caressing her sister's head. "Now, let's put everything in order, okay?" She helped her sister organize her things.

    "Alright then," she said, heading to her room. She returned a few minutes later, holding a book. "This way, I can stay busy without disturbing you," she said gently to her sister. "When you're finished, or if you need help, I'll be right here." With that, she took a seat beside her sister, opened her book, and began to read.

    Lucy was acutely aware that everyone believed she was a liar, which made her inherently distrustful of people. However, everything she had said was undeniably true: Antony was a notorious bully, and within the school, only a handful of children had the courage to confront him, Lucy being one of them. The young girl had never tolerated his arrogance and always responded in kind, which had earned her a spot on his "blacklist." Lucy allowed herself to be led to the car, and when her father offered her an ice cream, she nodded , sniffling and sticking her thumb in her mouth.

And when he pulled up my skirt to make fun of me I slapped him and the fight is started” she said crying to her daddy “but since he is the principal’s son every one believe him, no one punish him and he do all he want” he said crying to his daddy.

    Laura smiled warmly as she hugged her sister tightly, tenderly kissing her forehead. "Okay, go get your books and notebooks," she said to her before taking a seat at the table, waiting for her. She felt an overwhelming happiness knowing that she had finally made amends with her sister, as if she could touch the sky with a finger. "I'm here!" she exclaimed when she saw her sister enter the living room, pulling a chair closer to invite her to sit down beside her.

    "Of course," Laura said with a sweet smile, gently stroking her sister's head before rising from the sofa. "I'll ask you again. Do you need help with your homework before your friend arrives here?" She asked kindly before inviting her sister to bring her books and notebooks into the kitchen. "It would be my pleasure to assist you."

    “honestly?” asked to her sister and when the girl nodded she asked her to seat down on the sofa “I know that we are never been very close-knit and I’m very sorry for this” she said looking her eyes “I hoped that this month without mom could be the occasion for get closer and finally bury the hatchet” she explained sincerely “do you imagine how mom would be happy seeing that we get sincerely along?” Laura asked her.

    Laura gazed at her sister with a puzzled expression, not understanding the reason for her strange behavior. "Of course, no problem!" she replied, taking a duster in her hand and heading to the bathroom to remove the cobwebs. "All done!" Laura announced as she emerged from the bathroom and returned to her sister. When Carry asked if she could watch a children's cartoon, Laura responded with a kind smile, "Of course!"

    "It's that tomorrow morning, I would like to wake up early, and for that, I would appreciate some quiet so I can sleep," she explained to her sister. "But since I've granted you the sleepover, I think you could do me a favor in return. If you promise not to make any noise from that hour onward, there won't be any problems," she added kindly.

    "Not a problem! We can have pizza for dinner," Laura replied kindly to her sister. "I don't think you've finished your homework yet, but I can help you if you need it," Laura offered sincerely. "I remember the topics I studied in middle school, and I had fairly good grades in high school," she said, thinking of ways to be helpful. "As for the sleepover, I have no issues with it, as long as you're in bed by half-past eleven. I think that's a reasonable compromise," she added, speaking to her sister.
