So I haven't been very active on here in a while. But I thought it was time to let you all know something that's been going on in my life. A big thing. Perhaps bigger than anything I've faced before.

As some of you know, I'm an Online CG with several Littles. Two of them, Melly and Sammi, actually live together in Virginia.

But they recently got kicked out of their apartment because their landlord is a queerphobic (*String of unintelligible expletives*) bastard. And now Melly (Who is Trans) feels like it's all her fault because of who she is. She feels that she's the sole reason they can't find an apartment they can afford and she can't get a job because no one will hire "a freak" (her words not mine.)

Normally I'm so good at helping my Littles through even the most dire of problems, but this time I don't know what to do! I've never experienced anything close to this. I want to help so badly but I'm several states away without a car, a license, a job, and about $100 to my name. I just don't know what to do. :(

So....that vaguely D&D related story just turned into two stories in my thinky brain and I can't wait to work on both this weekend. I know that's not much information to go on, but since only one person besides me cares about it it's good enough.

I'm working on a short story for the Halloweens, and it is legit the hardest thing I've tried to write. It's not like a crazy difficult concept or anything, and I know the story I want to tell, but I've written and rewritten the beginning a dozen times and I'm still not happy with it.

I'm sure it will click eventually, but I would like to have it done ahead of the actual day of Halloween but with the way it's been going I'm not sure if it will...

I am home from CAPCon 2018 with a little trophy to show for it - I didn't win, but I got up on that stage in my sloth PJs and I played my ukulele the best I could with my hands shaking badly... and I'm really glad I did it.

Thank you to all the people (especially chansu ragedashi and Merff!) who said hi to me and made me feel loved and welcomed.  I wandered the con floor in my froggy PJs and just sang and talked to people and it was AMAZING.

You get this impression from the fiction that we write and how most of us live in isolation that a convention like this might have a darker tone, but honestly and truly it was the single most accepting and loving group experience I've ever been a part of.  There were hundreds of ABDLs just being NICE to each other and playing together.  There were SO MANY gender non-conforming individuals and people just being themselves - and everyone was accepting.  I LOVED every minute of the con and I know 100% I will be back next year.

I started writing my stories because there wasn't enough love in ABDL fiction at that point in time... I especially wanted to write about gender non-conforming individuals (like Gwen and Melanie, and to a lesser extent Helen), because I don't feel they get enough love.  But nothing prepared me for how much love and acceptance was in that space.  It was simply amazing.

omfg CAPCon is a week away, I'm super excited and super nervous.

I really, really hope I run into at least ONE person there who likes my stories....

Sorry again I haven't posted anything lately, I might take a couple of nights off from my story with my mommy-type to pen another chapter or two just to show that I'm not abandoning the story!
