Mikey looked at Paul and then to his car seat and decided he wanted to prove how big he was “oh, daddy let’s me sit in the front so I can just get in and sit like a big bo…I mean grown up”.

“Yea daddy bill be a good boy. I promise” Mikey says as he gives travis a kiss. Mikey reaches his hand out for Paul, letting himself be led to the car. “Uncle Paul, can I get a milkshake?”

“Yes daddy I’ll be a good boy for uncle Paul.” As he toddles off, travis and Paul can see a red hand print on his bare bum from the seat travis gave him. Mikey finds his nightie and brings it back to Travis rather than putting it on himself. He wants to be good and doesn’t want to lose his ice cream

“Ouch!” Mikey exclaims and tries to rub the sting out of his bum. “Sorry daddy I’m a good little baby please can I still get ice cream?”

Mikey pouts but wants ice cream and doesn’t see any other choice “fine, I’ll wear my stupid nightie jeeze” he says trying to at least sound like an adult. Or at least a big boy.

Tommy starts crying as Cody helps him up “I’m sorry I didn’t know where I was when I woke up and I was all wet and then I fell out of the bed”. He cries and hugs Cody

Tommy woke briefly as Cody picked him up but fell back asleep. He woke suddenly in the night, confused about where he was and then noticed a strange feeling that he hadn’t felt in a while. He reached under the covers and felt he was in some sort of night shirt but that it was soaked! He looked around and saw Cody in bed and realized he must have brought him back to his form and that he’d wet Cody’s bed. He tried to climb quietly out of the bed, but tripped and knocked over a chair, making a very loud bang.

Tommy nodded taking Cody’s concession as a win. He turned to the discussions that were happening and felt his eyes start to droop and his head start to loll to the wide. Before he knew it, he was out with his head on Cody’s shoulder.

Tommy wanted to put on a tough face so he turned to Cody “nuh uh, I’m not sleepy. I can stay til the end of the meeting”

“Yeah, I guess that might help” Tommy responded knowing he’d feel safer with Cody in the room. He let out a big yawn and sank back into the couch. He wasn’t sure how much he’d be up for talking with people tonight.

“Hi Cody!” Tommy’s smile brightened up when he heard Cody’s voice. Tommy was much smaller than Cory, barely breaking 5 feet and 100 lbs. His brown curls framed his face to make him look even less like the adult he had just become. He was always nervous around big crowds where everyone was bigger than him but always felt a bit better once he was next to Cody. “Oh, I’m ok. I just had a bit of trouble sleeping the past couple of days cuz of a lot of homework and a test I have. Plus I went and saw that horror movie they were showing in the student center and it made it hard to sleep”.

“No uncle Paul, only good boys get treats” Mikey responds. He wants ice cream but going out in his nightie will be so embarrassing. He’s torn on what to do and looks up at the big grown ups.

“Nooo! I can’t wear a nightie outside that’s pajamas not outside clothes. And it’s not close to bedtime it’s still light out! Can’t I just wear my shorts without undies? Please daddy?”

Mikey shrugs and looks at daddy “I dunno daddy did you bring any extra clothes for me? If you didn’t I guess I can just not wear any undies but can we pleeeeease go get ice cream now?”

“Yeah I guess so” Mikey said and walked over to Paul so he could get cleaned up
