I would agree: nice avatar change! Every once in a while I like to change mine also, and the last time I changed it was prior to our old posture being reassigned to a new church. He took that picture, of me surveying the outside during an outside sail, after I came upstairs to check on what was going on, after being in the thrift store.

It's always good to change stuff up after a while. I've even changed my cover photo: as you see, both of you can see how happy I am, however you may not be able to see my eyes, because they seem to be closed regardless of how hard I try to keep them open, because I'm trying to make it look like I'm not a dork: during this photograph the new pastor had simply asked me for a picture because he wanted to place it on the website: little did I know that he next turned around and asked me to become the associate Webmaster for the church's website! When he told me that, it made me feel so good that I was showing both thumbs up I was giving it all I had, and I felt like somebody had just said I had won $1,000,000: it's almost like when you get exactly what you want, or when you eat something that is so awesome, that you cannot get enough of it and you just let it envelope your entire body

another way to put that is if you are in a situation where you really like the situation that you're in, and somebody really really wants to take real good care of you, and tells you to let her handle you or handle it, then she ends up giving you the most exciting interaction, where she takes care of your every need, very gently very lovingly very calculated, hitting every single one of your sensors, making it feel real good, placing you in a position where you feel like you're on cloud 9 and nothing could hurt you, similar to how it feels when they pump you full of pain medication and you feel like your body just wants to go ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Well, in that picture I felt like I was on cloud 9: I felt I deserved it because over the last six to nine months, it just seems like everything at work had been taken away from me slowly, and I misunderstood the church's intention: I knew that they liked what I did, and I knew that I do a good job, and I knew that they would take care of me, some way, but when you are in charge and have been since 2017, and they come in like a steamroller, and tell you that you can't open yet, and they're trying to figure out what they wanna do, that made me nervous: thanks to this new pastor, and his new approach, it makes me feel like we are both on the same page, and that the site that we are building over there, is the same type of site I would build with my own two hands on my own website domain, and I'm so glad that I stuck it out: because now I got what I want, and me being happy in that picture above, says about all I have to say without even opening my mouth other than to smile!

I hope you are doing well my friend: I know that sometimes it can be hard, but sometimes as they say good things come to those who wait, and I wish you all the best! May you always be in the best possible health you can be, and hopefully you will be able to be happy whatever you're doing, wherever you are: it is always the best policy to try to be the best you can be, and now that I have been given the responsibility I have, I feel like I have earned the respect the admiration and I have earned the right to proudly state I made it! Throughout all of the tough times and all of the things that I have gone through, I know that life is hard, but I don't try to look at the positive as a negative, but I also try not to always think everything is negative: there are always a positive in every negative, you just have to find it. I think I just did!

      Take care my friend!

I'm wondering if it will end up on Hulu like the rest of the show, or Disney+ for more money

    3. kasarberang

      kasarberang

@DailyDiI doubt it'd be on Disney+. Disney seems to like keeping their Fox shows separate, the only exception being The Simpsons. Since they own a Majority stake in Hulu, it'd make sense to just keep the Fox shows/movies on there, but knowing Disney, it might be awhile until the movie moves to streaming. I think if they did a dual release like HBO has been doing where the movie is available on a streaming service AND in theaters, the movie would have done much better than it did.

Anyway, I like the movie theater experience, so I'm upset that I won't get that again. I should have caught it closer to its release.

  16. The wife and I are going to see the new Bob's Burgers Movie. Figured it'd be a fun time, even if I'm not the biggest Bob's Burgers fan, especially when it comes to the new seasons (they're still good, just not at consistantly good as older seasons in my opinion.).

Just got back from the movie, it was pretty good. My wife isn't a huge fan of Bob's Burgers but she enjoyed it well enough. It was like one long episode, it was pretty good.

Every day, we come downstairs, unlock the door and set the sign to open....open.

  17. Unfortunately, due to a scheduling mistake the deadline for the 2nd Kasarberang Non-CONtest has been extended to August 7th, as I would not have been able to meet the previous judging deadline. Hopefully, this does not cause any inconvenience for applicants and simply provides them with more time to finish their entries.

This will be the last modification made to the deadline. I'm so sorry for any inconvenience.

  18. @Jesse The BabySpiderBoyI'm moving this conversation here, as I always feel bad whenever we derail a thread to talk about something unrelated.

To try and answer your question of why other with my condition did not live very long.

Because the level of care required is higher than the standards of the medical industry. They would get infection after infection caused by nurses/doctors not being careful enough. Even I have had many infections due to medical neglect.

When I was 2 I had my last site for my central line to go, you have a certain amount of viable places and all of mine were gone by the age of 2.  When that happened my mom learned how to do all my medical stuff and made sure she did things really carefully and really well. She (up until my dad died) had the highest standards as far as my care was concerned. I have gotten very few infections since then. But even my younger sister died from medical neglect. The medical industry is shit, they genuinely don't care and often times do the minimum required to not get fired.

Not everyone is this way, there are a few genuinely great nurses and doctors out there, but they are the exception, not the rule.

You know that saying "Male bullies become cops, female bullies become nurses?" from my experience, that's very true.

      @Jesse The BabySpiderBoy

It's often not the doctors, but the nurses. And yes, it's a matter of sterility.

Speaking frankly, it's easy for someone to say that they've received only the best of care if the care they receive does not require a whole lot of effort on a nurse's part. It's not hard to say, change a bandage, rotate a patient, give someone medication, take someone to the bathroom, or even to insert and deal with a simple arm I.V. Those things are fairly low risk and require low skill and effort on the nurse's part. I could literally do most of those things myself, no problem.

It's often those require a certain level of care, one that requires someone to actually, well, give a shit. Something that, if messed up, could literally kill the patient. It's those people who receive the shit care because nurses simply don't, they don't care. If the patient dies because they weren't careful, or didn't maintain sterile protocol, they still get their paycheck, they won't get in trouble "oh, he was going to die anyway" they'd say and because the situation was slightly more complex than average, everyone will believe that, yeah they probably would have died anyway.

I have had such a bad experience with the medical industry that I actively avoid telling my doctors things that any normal person would be worried about. I've had multiple issues where I tell the doctors the problem, so then the doctors try and "fix it", usually the "fix" causes permanent problems and doesn't actually fix the original issue. So, I've just stopped telling anyone anything, unless I, personally, deem it an emergency. The doctors aren't as bad as the nurses though, I have had better experiences with them on average (though still plenty of bad experiences.) I think it's because it's far easier to become a nurse than a doctor, so doctor's tend to be more knowledgeable and more caring in general.

      Diapee Baby Jesse

That is EXTREMELY fucked up! No wonder you HATE the medical industry. I would too given what you've been through. Like, GOOD God!☹️?????? Those nurses should get their medical license taken away, if they do stuff like that. it goes against the hypocratic oath. Especially because a patient can die on your watch when you could've prevented it. That's JUST cold blooded murder at THAT point. LOL!???????

    4. kasarberang

      kasarberang

@Jesse The BabySpiderBoyThe fact is nurses, especially RN's which is the only level of nurse which is allowed to take care of people like me, are on short supply. They get hired and basically can do whatever they want because they graduated from nursing school. That's all it takes, they don't have to be good, and they will never get fired, and even if they are, it doesn't mean anything. Companies will snatch any RN up if they get a chance.

I had a nurse who was there when my dad had a heart attack, she was taking care of me at the time, but I was upstairs watching stuff with my wife, while she was downstairs. She watched my dad die on the stairs of our house as my sister's screamed. She did not perform CPR on my dad, which could have saved his life.

She is still at the exact nursing agency she was at when she was working with me, she didn't even get a slap on the wrist for not performing CPR which she is technically mandated to do if ever there's a situation like that.

  19. I love everyone on this site, regardless of their opinions on or off the site. I hope each one of you is doing wonderfully.

  20. @Jesse The BabySpiderBoyI have a question, do the emoji in your messages have a meaning, or is it just a bunch of random emojis for added flair? Should I spend some extra time trying to decode what the emoji are saying?

    1. Diapee Baby Jesse

      Diapee Baby Jesse

No, my Emojis are more or less to just Express my emotions. I try to use my Emojis to express my tone of voice in my opinion of what I'm saying so that it has more of a connection to how I feel emotionally about a topic. It's ALSO just another way to show my personality, because I have a VERY silly personality actually.???? I'm a legit 11 or 12 year old in an 27-year-old body. LOL! A 27 year old DISABLED body. Nevertheless!??

  21. Been using hand sanitizer a lot recently, and I'm starting to feel the effects of it. My hands are getting really, really dry. I found this product on Amazon, which is supposed to be a combination lotion and hand sanitizer, which is nice. So, hopefully, that will help me with my dry skin and also function as a half decent sanitizer.

I used to hate lotion when I was younger, now it's okay, so long as I get something that isn't super greasy.

  22. Wife noticed I have a Stye on my right eye today. Going to have to deal with treating that now, happy she caught it before it got really bad, I've been hospitalized for those before.

Luckily, it was in my blind eye, so my vision won't be affected by it.

      That's good news buddy!?????♥️?? What's an Stye?!??????☹️

    2. kasarberang

      kasarberang

@BabySpiderBoyIt's a bacterial infection on the lid of your eye that can progress into being pretty bad. It needs to be treated with hot compresses every day, along with being extra careful not to touch the eye with unclean hands.

  23. ATTENTION ALL WRITERS! In case you haven't heard, the 2nd Kasarberang Story Contest is currently taking submissions. There are currently $400 in prizes to be won (this might increase if we get more interest.) If you're a writer, it might be worth checking out.

  24. Got tickets for the 2nd Sonic The Hedgehog Movie, turns out my theater has tickets at only $6/ticket on a specific weekday, so we're paying half what we would otherwise be paying.

It'll be nice to go see a movie again.

Yeah buddy!!!! I LOVED the first one, it was good! I'm going to go see the Batman with my brother tomorrow!? I'm excited!!!!! Let me know how the second Sonic movie is!!!!! I've heard good things about it, so that's good!?

      kasarberang

@BabySpiderBoyI'm sure I'll enjoy it. I'm fairly easy to please when it comes to movies. Even movies that are largely considered bad, I'll usually enjoy. Heck, even if I dislike a movie, or realise it's objectively bad, I usually enjoy watching it the first time around.

    3. Diapee Baby Jesse

      Diapee Baby Jesse

I'm the exact same way buddy! I can watch almost ANY movie and think it's good. EVEN the bad ones! I enjoy MOST movies actually!?☺️?♥️?????????️??

  25. Wow, I've been winning the day a lot recently. I have no idea what I've been doing, but that's pretty cool.

Either that or no one else was active that day and my posts were the only thing that could possibly be liked, making the chances of being most liked for that day 100%.

    still cool though.
