Thankfully for Grace while Kara had taken the medicine she hadn't started producing breastmilk just yet. By morning tomorrow she likely would be producing plenty. For now she began feeding her small charge with the toddler silverware. Samantha knew she likely couldn't keep Grace but was enjoying looking after her feeling as if she had finally found something that had been missing from her life.

Samantha let Grace try for a few minutes before asking Grace "Want me to feed you ?" She was hoping the girl would agree to let herself be fed since she was struggling so much. The bottle did indeed have milk though the caretaker wasn't sure if that would really make a big difference on her little guest's ability to stay dry. Samantha gently tried to take the toddler silverware away from Grace to feed her.

"We need some medicine to help her fall asleep and stay asleep but I'll trust your judgement on that. And that is all for the night. I think we will hit the mother's nursing room before we leave though" Lily told the employee hoping they could get everything in the car without Madison seeing. Despite her friend still being dry she wasn't sure if she would be able to stay awake the whole ride home. She began to push the cart towards the mother's nursing room missing the signs hanging up above. Madison however would be able to see the signs of a mother breastfeeding as well as one of a baby getting a diaper change giving her a good clue where they were going.

Lily had expected that but was looking at the different designs thinking some were pretty cute. She pointed to some bedsheets with Minnie Mouse designs and told the employee "We'll take two of those as well. And yes it is but it was important to get this stuff tonight" The employee still thought her friend was young enough that she might have a crib or changing table and she was happy to not correct her. Lily then turned her attention to Madison and told her "We're almost done I promise. If you're good we can stop at your favorite fast food place on the way home" as she checked her panties one more time to make sure she wasn't wet.

"Just a single size bed" Lily told the employee just before she went off for a second. She began looking at the bedsheets trying to find some that were waterproof and would keep her friend's bed safe from any accident. The fact that so far her little roommate wasn't whining about anything was definitely a good sign. Lily was almost done then she and Madison could go home as she had wandered over to the crib bedsheets by the time the employee had returned.

"Ok. I'll take two changing pads and six waterproof covers with princess designs. Do you have any waterproof sheets for a bed ?" Lily asked the employee as she wasn't taking any chances. As she saw it her friend had been having the bedwetting issue for a while and it had been getting worse. Her roommate's little lie was going to result in even more humiliation even if she never went back to the school. Once the employee recommended some sheets for the bed they would look at medicine for Madison to help get her to sleep with less of a fuss.

Lily thought for a moment about getting the auto delivery but decided against it for now. She hadn't even considered a crib or changing table though if the accidents continued or her little friend fussed over wearing them she would be getting one. After seeing the panties were still dry she turned her attention back to the employee. "We don't have a crib or changing table yet and I don't know if they will be necessary. Some changing pads or a changing mat with a strap would be a good idea though I think. It will probably be mostly on the floor or a bed" Lily answered all of the employee's questions.

Lily nodded and looked to see how many diapers were in a nighttime pack, then a daytime pack, and finally how may booster pads were in the brand being recommended. She then told the employee "Ok thank you. We're going to get two packs of the Over The Moon diapers and two packs of Piddle Pads. Now what can you recommend in terms of changing pads ?" So long as the employee played her cards right she would be able to make a big sale. Lily looked down at Madison and her panties to make sure she hadn't wet herself again.

Lily listened carefully to what the employee was telling her before asking "Ok. Are they the most absorbent ones you have ? And can you recommend a good booster pad ?" She wasn't sure if her friend could hear them but she wasn't going to get much say in what diapers they got. After all she had clearly just gone with a cheap brand that barely held up through the night. Lily was definitely considering the daytime diapers for Madison and if she wet herself at the store she would be buying a pack.

Samantha nodded and sat down holding Grace before pushing the plate with the smaller portions and a bottle of milk towards her. Just before she could start eating the older woman put some napkins in the front of the smaller girl's onesie. She hoped they would work alright as a makeshift bib until they could buy some. Samantha had some toddler silverware so Grace could at least try feeding herself without making a big mess.

"I don't have a highchair just yet so you'll be sitting on my lap. You can either feed yourself or I can feed you. It's up to you" Samantha told Grace as she took her to the dining room table. She didn't think the girl would be able to see well enough in a chair and had no booster seat either. There were two plates set up though one had much smaller portions intended for a toddler. Samantha would of course give Grace more if she was still hungry after finishing what was on her plate.

"It's ok. You didn't do it on purpose you got a little too caught up watching the movie" Samantha comforted Grace as she picked her up and took her to the nursery. She put her on the changing table and gave her a fresh Pull-Up to hold before opening the sides of the wet Pull-Up. With ease and practiced hands she had the little adult wiped, powdered, and ready for the new training pants in less than five minutes. Samantha put Grace's legs in the Pull-Up then adjusted it for her before telling her "Now let's go eat"

Soon Samantha was done with dinner and went over to Grace. Before she picked her up though she gave her Pull-Up a quick check surprised to find it was soaked. She wasn't angry though figuring the little one had just gotten too caught up in the movie. If Grace had been wearing a diaper Samantha would have waited until after dinner but instead told her "Looks like you had an accident. Let's go get you a fresh Pull-Up"

Lily nodded and whispered to the employee "Yes I could use some advice. Little Madison here is still wetting the bed and we need to get her some better diapers. Can you help us find some ?" She had caught onto the fact that the woman believed her friend was a toddler or big kid but didn't correct her. Of course she had made sure to buckle her in the seat so even if she threw a fit she was stuck in the seat until the shopping trip was over. Lily waited for the employee to lead the way and recommend some diapers for Madison.

Lily decided not to tell Madison everything just yet instead told her "It's a new store. Just hold on while I find out where we need to go" She hoped from her seat in the cart her little friend couldn't see all the baby stuff along with all the babies, families, or expecting mothers around the store. The last thing she wanted to deal with was a fit over the diapers they clearly needed to but her. Lily quickly saw the signs for the diaper aisle and began heading towards it.

Lily was a little surprised to find Madison was asleep again but let her sleep for a moment. She took a store car and pushed it over to the passenger door before getting her short friend out of the booster seat. Trying her best not to wake her she put her in the seat of the cart which was bigger and more relaxed for older kids. Madison had claimed she had accidents so Lily was going to buy her some proper ones that wouldn't leak as easily and make sure she wore them to bed.

"Be thankful I didn't get you a carseat. And I wouldn't have had to carry you if you had just gotten in your carseat" Lily told Madison as she got in the driver's seat. She then looked in the rearview mirror at her roommate stuck in a Barbie booster seat unable to sit up front despite her age. While she hadn't exactly said they were going shopping for diapers it was likely pretty obvious as the car backed out of the driveway before they got on the highway. Lily seemed to know where she wanted to go as soon enough they were in the parking lot of a baby store and finally went to release Madison from the booster seat.

Lily had grabbed Madison and was now carrying her towards the car. She usually did it only for fun or when her roommate was being especially unreasonable and warned her "Stop acting like a little kid then. We need to go shopping and that's final" As far as the older girl was concerned her roommate had lost the chance to get in her booster seat so was being put in it like a little kid. Lily suspected the reason Madison hated the booster seat was because once buckled in she had to rely on an adult to let her out due to it being childproof for safety reasons.

Samantha began to make some dinner deciding to go with macaroni and cheese, fishsticks, and peas and carrots. She had some popsicles in the freezer that would serve as dessert. Of course she expected the young tot to eat everything on her plate before she got any dessert. Samantha was still making dinner when the movie was about halfway over.

"Oh thank you Grace. I'll empty it for you right now. Good job reminding me. Just for that you'll get an extra helping of dessert"Samantha promised Grace as she gave her the bottle of apple juice. She knew from daycare most toddlers wouldn't mention something like that especially if they were watching tv. As the training potty was emptied she felt proud but knew the girl would still need to work on telling her so they could get to the training potty or a bathroom in time. Samantha put the now empty training potty right beside Grace before going back to the kitchen.

Samantha heard this and decided to give Grace some apple juice instead. She didn't fill the bottle up all the way since dinner was coming up soon. As the older caretaker came back to the living room now might be a good opportunity for her little one to remind her the training potty was full. It would further help Samantha see Grace was serious about potty training and keeping her Pull-Ups dry.

"I'll get you a bottle of formula. Try to remember if you need to go potty let me know and I'll help you" Samantha told Grace as she went back to the kitchen. The training potty was still in the living room but unfortunately the woman had forgotten to empty it. She was definitely struggling a little with keeping up with a toddler. If Grace was lucky when Samantha went to sleep in a half hour she could probably get out of her crib without worrying about making too much noise.

"Of course you can. I'll be right back" Samantha promised Grace as she turned on the tv and set up the movie for her. She then went to the kitchen and got a few strawberries. This time she cut them up in small toddler sized pieces for the small toddler. Samantha came back with the strawberries and asked Grace "Anything else before I start making dinner ?"

Lily however wasn't convinced as she opened the back seat door and waited for Madison to get in her booster seat. She would put her roommate in it like a mom would do for a young child if she didn't get in by herself. One way or another though she was going in the booster seat and they were going shopping. Lily was going to make sure Madison's diapers never leaked again.

Lily listened to what Madison was saying as her suspicions were confirmed. Unfortunately now her roommate thought it was a big problem but was going to deal with it properly. "Ok. Come on we need to do some shopping" She told her as she began leading her outside to her car. Of course Lily and Madison both knew what a car ride meant as after being pulled over she had been warned her friend needed a booster seat something it seemed Madison was still not adjusting well to.
