Lily sighed as she was forced to make another trip to grab the other pack of diapers and booster pads before asking Madison "How did I embarrass you at the store ?" She didn't think the employee mistaking her for a little kid was her fault as her friend could have said something about it. From where she stood she was only trying to help by getting the necessary supplies. Lily was debating giving Madison another bottle now that they were home.

"Hmm that depends. Are you going to at least try the nursery experience and keep going to daycare for a few more days ? If not I can take you back to Samantha and tell her all about how you ran away. If you do stay with me that means diapers at night and until I can get you some training pants" Sarah told Grace as she decided to leave the choice up to her. Either option meant diapers and daycare though perhaps for a shorter time. She waited for her to make a decision as she finished wiping her butt before sliding the new diaper under her small friend's butt. It was almost as thick as Grace's nighttime diaper and crinkled a lot more giving off her position much more easily.

"Madison please help me get the diapers and other stuff up to the apartment" Lily told Madison as she expected her to help get the stuff up to the apartment. She would definitely continue the spanking upstairs if her little roommate refused to help at all. If her friend was quick maybe she could try to hide the packs of diapers somewhere. Lily was already getting the bottles and formula along with the changing mats while expecting Madison to carry in her diapers.

"I found her in a leaking diaper asleep on the couch. And she admitted to me she has been accidents at night. I still need to bring her supplies into the apartment" Lily tried to explain her side of things to the landlady. The wet spot on the couch might still be there and briefly smell of pee. She tried to get past the landlady and get the packs of diapers. If Lily couldn't get them she would just take Madison over to the landlady when she woke up with a wet diaper tomorrow to proof Madison did need to wear diapers to bed.

Samantha had yet to start changing Grace's diaper but tried to soothe her and make her feel better. "Of course I don't see you as a baby. I just thought on your birthday it might be a nice way for you to relax and not have to worry about any adult stuff. Doesn't that sound fun ?" She asked her as she pulled out a diaper and let her see the designs on it. It featured animals on the front as well as back with something on the back. Sarah didn't let Madison see what was on the back of the diaper as she untaped the old diaper and began wiping down her butt and privates.

Lily gulped as she saw the landlady who just so happened to be a grandma and stopped spanking Madison. She had a plan though and explained "I know Madison is not a child but she was throwing a temper tantrum over carrying her diapers inside. Apparently she has been having accidents so I had to get her some supplies" Of course she had no clue her roommate had lied to her but that still didn't explain why she was in a wet diaper when she had found her. Lily knew the landlady was likely to find some reason to try and take Madison's side though.

Lily was not listening to Madison as she saw the spanking wasn't having the desired effect. She did pause and tugged the diaper down just enough so her roommate's privates were covered but not her butt. Just like that the spanking continued with nothing to diminish the pain. Lily of course heard and saw what the neighbors were saying and doing but didn't stop them glad they believed Madison to be a naughty brat.

Lily sighed but sat down and pulled Madison over her lap. She then pulled her shorts off completely showing off her diaper to all the neighbors. Without a word of warning she began spanking her not stopping as she got ten swats and was heading to twenty. Madison was going to learn some gratitude after Lily was nice enough to help her with her very serious bedwetting problem.

Sarah wiped Grace's tears with a Kleenex for her before telling her "It's ok. Wearing a diaper isn't so bad. As for the nursery I do babysit a bit but it was supposed to be a surprise birthday present for you" She had long thought about the idea of seeing how her friend looked dressed up like a toddler so had been gathering supplies for them to try it on her next birthday. The plan was to let her have a few very relaxing days with no adult worries or cares. Sarah had kept the door locked when Grace visited and never brought up the idea wanting it to be a huge surprise.

Lily marched over to Madison and whispered to her "Either you be a big girl and take your diapers inside or I'll spank you" Some of the neighbors with young children had already noticed the waistband of the diaper sticking out and the bulk of it. A spanking likely meant pulling down her short roommate's shorts so everyone could see the diaper before spanking her. At least if Madison waited until they were inside less people would witness her humiliation.

"NO !" Sarah's response was almost immediate upon hearing Grace beg for the Pull-Up and took a few minutes to calm down. "Sorry but no. You soaked this diaper so you obviously need a new one. If your accident hadn't been so big maybe you could have worn training pants" She explained as she brought her to the changing table and tucked the Pull-Up away in a drawer. Instead of answering the question of why she had a nursery directly her best friend asked her "Why do you think I have a nursery ?" None of the stuff looked big enough for Sarah but instead for a toddler or at least someone the size of a toddler.

Lily helped Madison out of her booster seat once they were home but didn't let her go inside just yet. Instead she took her to the trunk and told her "We have a few things to carry inside" She then opened the trunk letting her little friend see all the stuff they had bought while in the store. Lily attempted to hand Madison her packs of Over The Moon diapers to carry inside first.

Sarah heard Grace calling for her the next morning and went into the nursery. She took her out of the cradle and unzipped her pajamas only to find a soaked diaper. "You couldn't stay dry for a few hours ?" Her friend asked her in disbelief glad at least the diaper didn't leak. Sarah looked at the wet diaper then at the Pull-Up Grace had brought then the diapers on the changing table before telling her "I guess you won't be needing a Pull-Up today"

Lily heard Madison mumbling in her sleep but had no idea what she was talking about. She was a little disappointed when her friend woke up early before they were halfway home. "No we're not home yet still a bit to go" She told her wondering if she remembered getting fast food on the way home. Lily had not passed it yet so if Madison remembered and reminded her they would go through the drive thru.

Sarah stopped the story once Grace was asleep before looking in the cradle at her. As much as she wanted to see her friend she saw an adorable baby not even a year old who needed to be taken care. She checked the diaper again finding it dry before taking the cup to the kitchen and putting the Pull-Up on the changing table. Sarah stayed up a little bit later before finally going to sleep herself.

Lily nodded in agreement as she put Madison back in her booster seat and buckled her back in. She then had the store employee help her get everything into the trunk. Just before she left she gave the woman $20 as a tip for all her help. Lily then began driving home not sure if the noise of traffic would be enough to wake Madison up.

Sarah nodded and got out Winnie the Pooh and the Hunny Tree. She began to read it gently rocking the cradle with her feet as she did. It was a little surprising her friend hadn't asked who the nursery was for as she had never shown her the room before ever. Sarah continued reading to Grace curious if she would actually stay awake through the whole story.

Lily nodded as she noticed Madison was too small for the spare carseat and moved her into Hannah's carseat. She would be surprised if it was too small as well given her little roommate wasn't as tall as a ten year old. Depending on what happened the next few days they might end up coming back for a changing table and carseat. Lily was glad for now the medicine was still keeping Madison fast asleep.

Sarah sighed but asked Grace "Any story you had in mind ?" She knew her little friend was trying to stay up a bit later as if maybe she would let her out of the cradle to stay up a bit later. The fact that she had already had a bath, put in pajamas, and then in a crib told her that this new bedtime might be better for her. Sarah had plenty of stories that she read for whoever the nursery was actually for but Grace was borrowing for the night.

Lily nodded as she listened to Emily before looking at the spare carseat and Madison sleeping peacefully. She finally decided she couldn't resist and asked the store employee "Can I put Madison in the spare carseat to see how she fits ?" It would help her get an idea of what size carseat her sleeping friend might actually need. Lily waited hoping Emily would agree to it.

"Still in the potty training phase with Hannah I see. Do you think Madison is small enough for a carseat ? I considered it but she threw such a temper tantrum over just getting a booster seat. Oh who is the third carseat for ?" Lily asked Emily as she was willing to take her advice. If she truly believed a carseat was safer for her friend she would start looking into different options. She of course wouldn't tell her roommate about it until she had picked out one for her. Lily would definitely be taking Emily's advice if Madison needed anymore baby or toddler supplies.

Sarah didn't think it was a good idea at all for Grace to be drinking anything so close to bedtime but let Grace make the choice. "Ok one glass of water coming right up" She told her friend quickly fetching her a glass of water then asked "Anything else ?" Since she had missed a bedtime story at the nice woman's house maybe she could get her best friend to read her one. After that if Grace was still awake she could try and go potty one last time.

"I promise. It will be our little secret. Now do you want anything before we put you in your cradle ?" Sarah asked Grace as she began to lower her into the cradle. There wasn't much she could say or do to delay her early bedtime. If she woke up in the middle of the night and alerted her friend of a need to use the bathroom so long as her friend woke up she would take her. Sarah wondered though if Grace had even the slightest chance of staying dry all night.

Lily couldn't help overhearing Emily's name but waited until they were outside. "So Emily is it ? You were such a big help. I can't imagine what I would have done if you hadn't recommended those nighttime diapers. Madison did put up a little fuss when she saw them but I think she'll soon see it's for the best" Before they loaded anything into the trunk she parked the cart and opened the back door letting her see the Barbie booster seat. Lily unbuckled Madison from the cart before moving her to the booster seat trying not to wake her up.

"What's wrong with the cradle ? You can fit in it can't you ? And unlike my bed or the couch it has protective sheets if you use your diaper during the night and it leaks" Sarah asked Grace before noticing her chewing on her finger. She took the attached pacifier and brought it up to her friend's mouth. If the poor little adult ever wanted her friend to see her as an adult it was severely important to keep her diaper dry during the night. If Grace wet it during the night Sarah would never let her live it down.
