Shy-Diapers

Cora just sobs into her uncles chest feeling so helpless right now not being able to stop crying. Cora: Im sorry I'm sorry im sorry im sorry She continues through her sobs until they eventually calm down a little to just a normal cry now

Cora: *sniffle* can we just talk up here for a *sniffle* while please Da.... She stops herself before callong him 'daddy' again. She just hugs him and doesn't let go still crying into his shoulder. Cora: I just wanna be up here with you right now She manages to say through her tears

(I was talking to him about the pull-up before but whatever) When jason comes to my room I have him sit on bed next to me. Annie: Jason sweety I know you're a big boy but I would like you to wear some protection for a while this in no way makes you a baby. It's just that sometimes when people are in new situations like being adopted they might have accidents I take out the pull-up and show it to him Annie: see this is a pull-up not a diaper so if you need to you can still use the big boy potty I just want to save the embarrassment of having an accident if it happens

Annie: I know you're not a baby and this will only be for tonight then you can go back to your panties everyone needs to wear protection sometimes I say trying to calm you down Annie: I won't even put it on you. You can do that yourself and cover it with your PJs now please do this for mommy I grab a pink pull-up daisys size and lay it on the toilet before grabbing a blue one for jason and leaving the bathroom Annie: I'll let you decide what happens but if you don't where it you will be getting punished I shut the door leaving it up to then go kneel do n next to jason so im at eye level Annie: Jason sweety I know you're a big boy but I would like you to wear some protection for a while this in no way makes you a baby. Annie: Sweety, please just for now if it makes you feel better im having Jason where some too. And I don't mean diapers juat pull-ups that's all just to be safe okay sweety? I say not moving when you push me away but hugging you and letting you cry onto my shoulder.

Annie: No it's fine accidents happen to everyone sweety....... She pauses trying to phrase this nicely Annie: Sweety I know you're a big girl but I want you to wear some protection just for tonight while you adapt to these new circumstances

Elizabeth starts crying again thinking her daddy is angry with her. Elizabeth: I wan away in da woods and in a tree cuz I was upset dat you lied and bwoke you promise She says still crying not wanting her daddy to be mad at her. All she needed right now was some love and affection, and of course her daddy. Which she didn't feel like she was getting with her daddy being angry at her.

Annie: Jason honey why don't you go fix Daisy a plate please? I'll go check on her. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK Annie: Daisy? Baby, are you okay She leans her head on the door and hears her crying Annie: Daisy im coming inside She opens the door and sees Daisy in the corner in soaked pants before closing the door behind her. She sits next to Daisy not worrying about her clothes at the moment. Annie: It's okay baby accidents happen you're alright She rubs daisy's back gently to try and soothe her

Annie: Daisy? Honey are you allrigt in there? Do you want any help with anythung

Elizabeth: Daddy? We go somewhere peeeeeaaaassseeeee? Elizabeth says hoping her daddy would say yes she just wanted a change of scenery and to be able to spend some fun time together like they used to. Elizabeth: Pretty please with a cherry on top Daddy? Pleeeeeaaassseeee?

Elizabeth just sits outside on the daycare steps and pouts wanting her daddy to be here already. She knew she was dirty from both the tree and from earlier, but only her daddy was gonna give her a bath or try to clean her. When she hears his car pull up and her daddy starts to step out she runs over to him almost tripping and immediately clings to him wanting to be held. Elizabeth: Daddy! Daddy me missed you! She starts to cry again being happy her daddy was finally here. Elizabeth: Up Daddy Up! She says with her arms up so she can be held.

Elizabeth: I no need new clothes! I no wet! I big girl I went to the potty woom earlier! When Kathryn points to the undies she blushes a little. Elizabeth: Those no mine! I no go poo poo in my big girl undies! She cries even more now leaving the bathroom without being cleaned up and stomps outside and pouts on the stairs outside the daycare just wanting her daddy. And also not wanting her daddy to know about her accident she hopes Ms. Kathryn doesn't tell him. She'd never talk to her again if she did.

Elizabeth: i otay daddy I just want oo to come back I need oo daddy! She says through her tears being exhausted from crying but unable to stop needing her daddy and in desperate need of a cuddle. Elizabeth: You come soon daddy?

Elizabeth perks up hearing her daddy's name. She slowly crawls out forgetting about her skirt and not wearing undies. Elizabeth: *sniffle* Daddy? She is still crying as she can't stop at this point both being releaved to hear her daddy's voice and still upset with him for not coming.

Annie: Jason. I think you've been in there long enough. She turns around to see Daisy doing the potty dance Annie: Jason come out please. Daisy needs to go potty. If you don't come out im coming in and picking you up out of that tub myself. I have no hesitance to do so even with you being a boy.

Annie: Jason im coming in She opens the door setting the towels on the toilet Annie: Baby im putting the towels here on the potty for you sweety She then leaves the bathroom shutting the door behind her and goes back to Daisy Annie: Daisy do you need to go potty? I heard you tell jason that you needed the bathroom. (Btw we live in a large apartment so there is no upstairs or downstairs.)

Cora: No! It's not okay! I'm supposed to be the oldest. I'm supposed to be able to help around the house. I'm supposed to help Krystin adjust. I'm...I'm...I'm...I'm....... She continues crying now even harder she can barely speak anymore. Just sobs being so upset with herself. Up until now she had kept all her stress and other emotions inside trying to be strong and not show her real feelings that she had buried inside.

(Oops thought Abbie was eight and Cora was 10 my bad) Cora: Thank you Dad-Uncle Colin As soon as she shut the bathroom door Cora lost complete control of her bladder and had wet herself very badly. She has no clue on what to do knowing that if she asked for help she would need to go into the kitchen and Abbie would laugh at her and call her a baby like she did with Krystin, but if she tried to go upstairs and change she would also have to go into the kitchen. She didn't know what to do so she just sat in the far corner of the bathroom and softly started to cry. Cora: Im such a baby! I'm eight years old! Not 3! She says softly to herself as she continues to cry soft enough so unless your ear is to the door you can't hear it.

Cora: oh um anything is fine She then realizes she needs to use the bathroom but doesn't know where it is Cora: Da-Uncle Colins? Where's the potty? She blushes realizing she was talking like a little kid not an 8 year old who has been taking care of her sister.

Annie: Daisy? Sweety, do you need to go potty? I bang on the bathroom door which wakes jason up Annie: You okay jason? Do you need help? I'm coming in with a towel for you sweety okay?

Cora just stood there with her head down still in the kitchen not knowing what uncle Colin's was gonna say after she had called him daddy.

Cora: she is she's just stressed and is shy and honestly I think she feels unloved so she wants some attention and she thinks that the only way to get it She sighed and she finished setting the table worrying about her sister

Cora: she does, she's just upset and thinks that uncle Colin and auntie Charlotte are trying to replace our mommy and daddy and she's not good in new situations or with new people plus shes grieving about our parents passing away especially since we were in the car when it crashed and our mommy and daddy passed away trying to save us. She says trying to explain hoping her cousins are starting to like her and especially Krystin

Elizabeth: but he pinky promised me! He said he'd be here! He lied to me! Why daddy lie? She continues crying both upset with her daddy for lieing and breaking his promise and upset in general just wanting her daddy to come pick her up and twirl her around and then cuddle her close to his big chest.
