    Regarding to find the right length of the stent, where did your tip of the outlet end, can you still feel it at the very base of your penis? Today i tested different length without any bending and found out that the length must be very precise, to short and you are past our outer sphincter but only a few centimeter longer and you are at the moving parts of your urethra and it gets very uncomfortable on each movement of your penis ,

    @Hannah YMS what Material is your stent made of? I would love to see detail shots of your stent. How do you measure your distance from bladder neck to the outer sphincter?

    i don't get it, where is your knot attached to, to a hole on the side on the stent?

    @Naviking that's interesting, i tried something similar with a single use pvc catheter. However with the silicone tubeing i had no success, it won't hold the position. Another question, i saw you stent on fetlife, but i don't get it how did you fix the fishing line?

    Thank you for you information. Don't you use any inner tube made from tougher plastic?

    I tried another stent today, i made i from a single use pvc catheter, i have it inside right now. It gave me stress incontinence, coughing and bending over made loose spurts of urine and i dribble very very small amounts. What does this mean? Is the stent not far enough inside my bladder or can it be that the inner tubing is again clogged but the urine flows on the outside of the tubing past my urethra when i cough? When coughing which sphincter muscle makes way, the inner or the outer? EDIT: The Position seems not quite right and the flow was to minimal, it was made from a CH 14 Catheter with no inner tubing, it pushed out when i urinated by myself because the bladder pressure got to high

    So, i tried 2 stents so far based on Cathdiap's design but i keep struggling to find the right match between the inner and outer tube diameters. The first i build was made from a Ch16 single use catheter and a ptfe tube with inner 2mm and outer 3mm diameter. The fitting of the ptfe tube was very tight. When i inserted it in my bladder nothing happening, so i pulled it out immediately. When i looked for the cause i saw it was clogged by the instillagel which i used for lubing. The Second stent i tried was with a silicone tube 6mm outer and 5mm inner diameter with only 0.5mm wall strength, and this was to thin and flexible i couldn't insert it doe to the flex. So may i ask you all, what Diameter pairs do you use? It would be neat if you tell me your store as well where you purchased it but only if it's in europe.

    I believe you that your are actual using your stent, so i don't need a proof. However i am interested in this video anyway to see the insertion process in detail. I remember there was already a video in this thread linked to x-video, but it went down a while ago.

    Iam following your blog for a few years now, in the more recent posts you showed your stent with metal tubings, where did you got them from and dou you remove them before you slide the stent in?

    Hello, i read this page on and off now for years and i'am finally brave enough to try to build my own stent. Unfortunately this thread became corrupted and also impossible to overlook every post... So, is there a instruction set, step by step to build your own stent? If no, what materials are you using? I would start with a silicone catheter but i have no clue what material to put inside the tubing to do the bends, and also how to securely fix the fishing line to the tubing. Would be great if some one could be provide with some details.
