Noisey Pants

I have been on Tumblr for over ten years. I add some new pictures yearly. I originally started it to help my seamstress build up here Adult Baby sewing and alteration business. And boy did it ever. I get new followers weekly. I am just shy of 1000 followers and lots of mail. So it must be popular. Just saying.

What stuff, please do tell? I am all ears.

It is amazing how people blame a President for high inflation and shortages. They simple don't understand economics!!! How could a President cause a world wide inflation and shortages?? Educate yourself... I have been ordering plastic pants and diapers for over 40 years. And several have gone out of business. Comco was one that their vinyl supplier stopped making the vinyl they used. VIP Products the same thing happen to them. Both Great Companies, I miss them. There is only one maker of vinyl pants in the US and that's Gary Products. And their prices were going up a couple of years ago. I have been stocking up on my favorite diapers and pants for a long time, just knowing that someday they will not be available. I have had private seamstress's make a lot of my diapers and pants over the years also. And they also retire or stop making them. It's really coming down to the younger generation that was raised wearing disposables are not purchasing the Old School cloth diapers and plastic pants. We are a dying generation.

I am coming into the conversation to many years later. I had purchased a couple hundred pair of the VIP/ Gerber Pants. I started buying them in the middle 80's. When Geber stopped manufacturing them in the United States, a couple of the lady worker bought the adult line and stayed in Michigan. They were wonderful to deal with. I got to the point that the extra large would not fit my thick diapers, they sold me the vinyl. I then had a seamstress make at least a hundred pair for me. It broke my heart when I called them and they could no longer get the Good Ole Gerber Vinyl. So they closed the doors. I still have almost a hundred of the X-large pants brand new in storage. They still have that new vinyl smell.

Diane retired several years ago. She gave all her regular customers a years notice. It broke my heart. She made the best quality diapers I have every had. Over the years I purchased over 100 diapers from her. She always made very thick diapers and to ones specs. She was hard to replace, but I found a lady and conveniced her to make diapers and plastic pants for me. Then I had her making some cute adult baby clothes. I talked her into starting a business.
