You do know you can go to a store, Wallgreens, CVS, WalMart, Target, just about any place and buy an emergency bag of adult diapers to get you through when you run out.  Yes, they may be cheap store brand diapers but keep a couple things in mind.  Even a cheap diaper is better than no diaper at all and if it leaks, it won't be as bad as a totally soaked bed from no diaper at all.  Also keep in mind that with cheap store brand diapers you can wear two at once and double up on them for that extra night time protection.

Money isn't an issue, but why would I spend ~$12-$15 on a bag of 20 diapers that I will only use one of? The diapers offered by CVS/Walgreens are pathetic so I would only use one diaper and throw the rest away. I made an effort to limit fluids/go to the restroom beforehand and took that route instead of wasting money on an ineffective product.

  2. Unfortunately, I woke up soaked this morning. I ran out of diapers yesterday and my case of Northshores didn't arrive on time so I was forced to go to bed unpadded. I went to the bathroom several times before I went to sleep but it was no use. I woke up at 3am with a soaked bed. Miserable night of sleep.

I can count on one hand how many times I've gone to bed without being diapered since I retrained and each night amounted to a terrible night of sleep. Crazy how dependent I am now at night.

  3. What diaper does everyone use at night? I have had a tough time finding a consistent 'go to' diaper but I recently discovered the Northshore Supreme and am hooked. The fit, absorbency and overall comfort are perfect for me.

  4. What diaper or overall type of protection do you wear at night? I am wearing Bambino Bianco's and have recently added a pair of plastic pants to help with leaks. My wetting has increased this year in volume and its become an every night type of situation.

  5. Aside from more water, maybe use baby powder?

I don't personally use that but if odor is a concern then I would opt for either baby powder or perhaps a plastic pant (which I've never used FYI) to help mask the odor. Unfortunately I've noticed smell problems in the morning as well but I don't have to deal with sleeping with a wife. I don't think a specific diaper brand will help with masking the odor so not sure if I can help there. Which brand are you using currently?

  6. My first time buying was my freshman year of college. My roommate was gone for the weekend so Friday night I drove 45 minutes to another town and went to a CVS at like 11:45pm (the store closed at midnight so it was empty). I went to the incontinence aisle and grabbed a pack of the Depends Maximum Protection briefs. I went to checkout at the pharmacy and the pharmacist was in her late 20's and was really attractive. When I put the diapers on the counter she started smiling and asked if that was all I needed. Before I went into the store I debated on whether or not to get baby wipes (I wanted to see if I remembered the smell) so before she rung me up I told her I needed to grab one more thing and walked to the baby aisle and grabbed some Pampers wipes with the 'fresh baby' scent. I brought back the wipes and set it on the counter and was a nervous wreck (my hands and voice were shaking) and she laughed and said, "Good thing you got these things before you went to bed".

  7. I travel to Houston pretty frequently for 1-2 weeks at a time. I always stay at the same hotel and the maids do know of my bedwetting/diapers. My first time staying there I arrived to the hotel late at night and ordered room service as soon as I got to my room. I'm unpacking all of my clothes and had 4-5 Abena M4's sitting on top of the desk and a maid knocks on my door with my food. I expected them to just hand me my food at the door but instead she walks in to set it down on the desk and obviously saw my diapers just sitting there. She was pretty embarrassed at seeing the diapers and I am beet red as I clear away my supplies for her to set the food down.
