[For Those Who Wear 24/7]

Full time happened for me at age 45 and that was around 10 years ago.

My DL was for the longest time in my life a struggle. It started around age 10 when I somehow developed interest in diapers and wearing them.
In my teenage days I played around, made my own all that stuff. In my twenties I forgot about it as I suppressed that desire for years, really hard.
One incidence at my age of 27, where somehow accidentally a small newborn baby gift care package with cream, etc and a diaper ended in my place sparked all the past again. The desire came back, could not contain it and was stronger than ever. I went on for years with sometimes bad binge and purge cycle, hard to manage. 

In 2009 at the age of 41 I gave somewhat in and just did not throw away my diapers every time, wore more often and slowly started to accept this part of me. 4 years later I said to myself try wearing 24/7 and if I like it I will stick to it and in case it wanes away great too. It has now been over 10 years with 24/7 and I nearly wear all the time, like 99%. There is no going back for me and wearing, planning, using diapers never gets old to me, not sure why. Good part these extreme bing/purge situations and mental battle between desire vs living with it and not being taking over is so much easier for me now to manage.

[Emotional change of the word diaper with multiple languages]

For an ABDL/DL/etc the word “diaper” has a special meaning and connotation. My first langue is German and diaper translates to “Windel”. That word was and still is special to me with a certain emotional attachment. I started to learn English by the end of Elementary School and the word diaper got added to my vocabulary way later. I am now in the USA for over 23 years and yes diaper also holds a special meaning to me. My native language is pretty rusty as I don’t use it that much and any smallest energy burned in my brain either thinking, talking, writing or other is all in English. 
Yet the word “diaper” and “Windel” kept an equal emotional meaning and it has not shifted over all the years.

Anyone with longer periods of multi language use experiences has developed the same or different emotions to these words? 

[Bought too small diapers]

I found an excellent way to use the too small M betterdry diapers by sticking the lower tape upwards to the upper tape and had a great fit. They were in the last weeks my night diaper and never had a leak, great absorbency. I did get also a big order of Large size betterdry. I really love them, super absorbent nearly too thick, great fit and very comfortable. Now I have enough alternatives.

Daily use and more discrete is ABN Tranquillity like work, rest is typically Abena M4, Dry 24/7 and Betterdry.

I tried again the Wellness Briefs, but they keep falling apart very time, hardly lasts 5 hours.

[Bought too small diapers]

I have been diapered since 2013 pretty much 24/7 and when I restock diapers I buy them in bulk, more economical. Abena/ATN and Dry247 are my go to diapers, depending on the need and I tried all kind, but never betterdry. My size is between M to L depending on manufacture. So I bought a case 60 of M size better dry and turns out they just fit or not really fit, very tight. Totally forgot to first give it a sample try, so used the the overall routine. I guess I am stuck with 58 more to go ? 

For sure I will get the L version too as I really like them.
