    Incontinence on the bus

    I'm urinary incontinent but not faecal incontinent. I've also noticed that in certain situations that if I have the wrong food and a low vibration such as that described above then I will involuntarily release. It is like I have given over control to someone else. Last time it happened I had a real mess which I was not able to clean up for a while. I had to stay in a mucky diaper for the best part of an hour until the tour ended. Not nice but in some ways I was glad I was diapered.

    Also I've noticed it happens when my diaper is wet? Does this have some relevance on the situation?

    Hi all, woke up today with the bed wet! It doesn't often happen but today my first thought was I wish I wasn't incontinent! I changed the bed and started my daily routine of shower, get dried and new diaper then clothes on, have breakfast and off to work. Felt a bit depressed all day but have just given myself

    you ask how does it feel? as there are a lot of different types of incontinence there are a lot of different answers. However, for me there is no feeling ? As my incontinence means I just drip freely i dont really feel myself peeing, but the one sensation that i miss is the feeling of a full bladder, I havent had that for quite sometime. I do get the feeling of a full diaper and i need to change.

    Sometimes for convenience I do use my diaper for faecal purposes, this is when i cant make it to a toilet so i use my diaper and clean up later. that sensation is a whole lot different but it isnt incontinence. The feeling i do get is that of security knowing that i can never flood my diaper, and i will never be caught short especially these days when it costs 20 pence even to look at a toilet.

    well for me having to wear diapers 24/7 is a major factor but before i had to wear diapers i was a diaper lover. Diapers give me the security that i need, the feel of a clean fresh diaper against your body is just delightfull. I am urinary incontinent and the myth with incontinence is that you may have the urge to go and you cant hold it? this is true for some people but for me i go all of the time. I just drip drip drip so i have to be diapered 24/7. for me wearing diapers is an art form because i now have it down to a tee. I have my routine worked out, my changing times are all worked out and i rarely have a leak. I have discovered the delights of a onesie after wearing diapers for a few years, they are brilliant for keeping everything in place. if i was given the choice to not be incontinent i would decline the offer I love diapers and being incontinent is the ultimate joy for me. Simply, I LOVE DIAPERS. :P

    nope never gone out with a poopy diaper on. But i have pooped in my diaper when out. Had to come home from work today because of an accident in my diaper. got cleaned up and went back to work.Had to take an imodium.

    Ok I was well on the way to being incontinent having used catheters for quite a while. Catheters make your bladder shrink to about 20/30 cc. I used these for quite sometime and when i eventually took the catheter out I found that there was not a great amount of muscle response so i just sort of dripped and had little spurts. but i found myself gaining control and reinserted a catheyer after a few months but this time the cath was harder to get in and something didn't feel right? I took the cath out and decided to just relax and wear diapers anyway 24/7. I woke up one morning with a dry diaper bursting to pee and could not pee. I was taken into hospital where they found a cyst on the entrance to my bladder which was blocking the exit to my urethra. They couldnt operate at that time because the cysy wasnt big enough for the operation to be successful, so they inserted a cath and i went on my merry way. a few weeks later i got a letter for me to come in and have the cyst removed using a spinning cutter which was inserted up my urethra. The cyst burst as it should, the cutter did its job and cut away all of the loose material but the cyst was deep into the muscle and it left an opening to the urethra which made me incontinent. I was told that there may be a risk of this but the risk was little. Anyway, the first i knew about it going wrong was when i woke up in the recovery room in a diaper. The nurse told me that the surgeon would see me and that i was not to worry. The surgeon saw me and subtly and gently told me that i was now incontinent and that there was a very slim chance of regaining control. We talked about condom catheters but i insisted that the most natural course of action was to wear diapers. I now have a prescription for diapers and all associated items, cream, powder, and also clothing. I get Abena onesie t shirts 4 per year, also i get plastic backed Tendercare number 3 diapers for both day and night time use (boy did i have to battle for these) I am prescribed 6 changes per day. I was offered councilling which i took as i did not want to be seen as out of the ordinary. Funny really going to councilling when actually you have accomplished the one thing you have always desired.

    So in answer to your question did i make myself incontinent if using the catheters caused the cyst then yes i did, but there is no medical evidence to say that using catheters does this.

    Pooing your nappy in bed

    I have pooped when in bed. It was early one morning I needed to go to the toilet but it was middle of winter and the central heating hadn't come on and i was snug and warm. So, i thought what the hell i just went into the faetal position on my side and had no trouble going in my diaper. After i had finished i simply went back to sleep for another few hours. When i got up that morning I had wrigled about in my diaper and it had squashed all over me, but i went in the shower and cleaned myself up, put on fresh cream and got rediapered ready for a new day.
