So no go on the catheters, but VA happy to give me diapers. I inquired about cloth and was told they did not have in there catalog. I would like to talk to someone who has gotten cloth diapers from the VA. Need suggestions etc.

I use Desitin zinc oxide, I do not care for A+D, I thought about trying the butt paste mentioned above.

So I have always had bowel issues for very long time. Recently for past couple years had what was told is OAB. Past couple months I noticed increased urinary issues including wetting at night and at times unexpected urine leaking during the day, just like that. I been wearing a diaper for mostly 24 hours a day except when at home to air out. Urologist did some preliminary tests etc including discovering urinary retention which he was very concerened anout and now wants more specialized testing which I do later this week. Urologist mentioned pending results a catheter may be waranted. Anyone deal with similar issues? What catheter was used? I do not have the time or patience to do self catheterization but am concerned.

They tried to do cloth like disposables which do not work for me. They said they could do something else that was plastic backed. I am willing to go through the process. Personally on one hand I want something that works and do not.care about hiding it as it were. However I work in a job I am always around people on my project as well as others. So I am torn. Far as cloth if I could get them to do cloth diapers I would go that route as I assume they are not as noticeable. If anyone gets cloth from the va please pm me or post here if you will.

They resist meds and such, but jumped at giving me diapers. Surprised they didn't want to give me a Cath. So frustrating at times.

Kust so frustrating dealing doctors concerning issues add in the VA it is worse.

Looking to speak with fellow vets, who have incontinence. How they handle it, do you work with the VA? Private doc? The VA has offered me free supplies and say they can get me attends plastic backed. I said sure figured free is free. What.other brands have you used that they can offer? Anyone have any luck with them paying for cloth.and plastic pants? If so what company and how you get them to do That? These sort of things.

I bought a few pin on cloth diapers a while back and while I like them, it is a pain to try to change and re-pin them while at work. And have switched back to disposable while at work for ease.

I do feel better about it hearing from someone else.

Been dealing with OAB and urinary incont, along with IBS so have fecal incon ranging from mild to not fun.

I may just be stuck with the disposable which are mot all that bad, compared to leaking all over the place, though honestly at times just ready to screw it and ask for a catheter and see if they will go that route.
