Abena M4... Starting to feel soaked

I had the "weeping" issue with the Abena's at some point. Never caused me an actual issue though. My last bag of M4's had about three diapers with tape problems. Was still able to use them though.

Well, I did notice thickness differences, but I do like the 3 tapes and waistband so far. Ah well, worth a try. Can't be that bad a diaper. Plus my Abena's will compensate if that's the case.

as for the difference between pads for menstrual cycle and pads for pee, is odour control differences.

glycerin. check out "luna pads". they are reusable sanitary napkins for hippie chicks... they are thicker of course, and you can stuff them with inserts if you wish. but i'm a disposable person myself, so i understand if you need crinkle...

AZDL: I agree with you on the Abena tapes FOR SURE... I do like the X-Plus regardless for thickness, capacity, and noise. But when I wear them I am usually relaxing at home, and not moving much. So once it starts loosening, I just hold it up a bit while I go do whatever. I know better than to try and refasten

I come from the Great White North, where UPS deliveries really screw me over and most of the time jack the price higher in the end anyways... And online suppliers in Canada are rare too. Those Abena's were dirt cheap though. Like I am almost thinking it was a sale, and I should go back for more, lol. Where do you order from Darkfinn? I will check them out.

Just went to buy some Attends Briefs at my local incon store, and thought they only made the breathable kind now (what with these modern times and fabrics ). Well, lo and behold I saw in front of me the old-school Attends... Waistband.. check 3 Tapes... check White Plastic Cover... check My jaw nearly dropped. My all-time faves, still available. Grabbed two bags. 40$ for 22 (Medium), which is pricey I found considering their 'breathable' equivalent was 27$ for 18. Close, but still. Still didn't stop me! Months ago I was wearing 24/7 because my anti-deps were causin some high incontinence. I enjoyed it while it lasted but wore the breathable Attends at work for absorbency and discreetness. But now the side-effect has passed, and now it's just a fetish again, so I can buy the noisiest, thickest diapers I want, lol. Having said that, I also picked up two bags of Abena M4's as an "impulse buy" hehe. PS: Wow, the Abena's at my store are 20$ for 18 (Medium)... I only noticed this now. Not bad.

I haven't read all the posts, so if I'm saying things that have already been said, sorry I first got back into being a Daiper Lover when I came on the net in '94. alt.binairies.sex.fetish.diapers (i think) reminded me of what I loved when I was younger (5/6/7)... anyhoo When I stumbled on DPF from there somehow, it was a great hub that linked me to all sorts of interesting places. But when I last checked it out about a month ago, the site had not changed in about 10 years. Looking like a sad relic, I moved on to another site really fast... All that to say that I am sorry to see it go, but am not the least surprised. If anything it's long past due if that's the state the site was in. RIP DPF

I just got my first case of Abena's last week.... I love them, but I hate wearing them when I know I can't use them to their max. Like weeknights if I only wet once or twice, it's not worth it so I just stick with my Attends. I think my Abena's will mostly see weekend use. Too bad, cuz it's the best diaper I've ever worn. Wish I could be in them all the time...

I've tried Molicare's (Supers I think. Purple one) before, and though I liked them alright, they don't compare to these Abena X-Plus. I found after each wetting the X-Plus was actually fitting better and better, lol. As for diapering standing up, I do that at work in the bathroom. Kind of no choice really. It is awkward at first, but once you know the diaper and the position well enough, you get good at getting a good fit. I would never wear an X-Plus to work though, talk about a dead giveaway, heh. I'll stick with the Attends breathable brief for that thanks

Looks like they are made in Denmark. Likely pharmacies there have 'em. I hope so cuz this summer were plnning on going to Copenhagen. I can just buy once I get there

Well, I just got a case of em' now! And they're only going to be my nightime and weekends diaper, so should be around a while. lol, i still can't get over the thickness, wow.

I just got back into diapers this new years. Mostly out of interest again, but then my anti-depressant caused me some incontinence, so it's win win =P Anyways, my first favourite diaper, and first purchase were Attends Briefs (6 Tapes) back in the mid nineties. So this year I seeked out some Attends, which I can only get at medical supply shops. So I got these breathable Attends which disapointed me at first, since I like the plastic sound, but they've been really. good. Especially since I've been wearing @ work.... very discreet for a brief I found. But these Abena's remind me of the old fat Attends of the nineties... Ahhhhh Memories... Ciao for now, my bong awaits me, hehe

Hi again everyone, new2inc: Yeah, I was thinking how more depressed someone else would become if they were in my shoes. Whereas I'm actually elated to be feeling better about myself, and am being given a temporary reason to have to wear diapers at the same time. Over the week the urges have become much more urgent and near impossible to hold. I've been diapered 24/7 because of it. I've definitely avoided what would have been messy public accidents =P hehe. Love that wifey does not mind one bit . She's not ab/dl herself, but she's very understanding.

Quick Background... I started taking an anti-depressant approx. 6 weeks ago. It's been a rough year all over for me, so along with some counseling, I started taking Effexor (Venlafaxine) to help balance out my moods. Having taken Effexor in the past, I noticed effects right away because I recognized them from before. Some hyperness, sleeplessness at first. Also, after a few weeks, the pills were doing their thing, and I could start to focus more on my life and all that. But there was one side effect that started that I did not recognize for a while however. Every day on the drive home I have a peppermint tea. When I get home, I usually need to go to the bathroom pretty badly, but nothing crazy. Well it started being that when I would pull into the driveway, I'd suddenly get this great anxious urge to go, and I'd almost pee a little, but really barely made it to the bathroom. I didn't think much of it, but then it happened a few times at my desk at work, and especially when I would go to a kitchen and hear or touch running water. Then once or twice a few drops came out by accident, and then I struggled to hold it back until I made it to the bathroom. And since I don't wear diapers 24/7, I definitely wasn't protected. I got suspicious that it might be these pills I was taking. Well lo and behold, urinary incontinence is one of the side effects listed in the "infrequent" category. So I'm actually kind of enjoying this little experience because it is totally temporary. At this point it's also quite mild, but that doesn't mean I can't wear a nice Attends Briefs for just in case Anyways, these kind of things you can't share with many, so I thought I'd pass along my tale with you guys... Thought it was really interesting that incontinence could be a side effect of a drug like that. Cheers, D.A

First off, we're AB/DL's, so very easy targets. We're practically *begging* for it. Second, if you can't laugh at yourself, who can you laugh at? And lastly, certain things posted on there kind of deserved to be made fun of, on weekend web, here, or anywhere else. I won't look them up again, but it's safe to say staying in a poopy diaper for 48 hours is an obvious risk to your skin's health, and who knows what else. So it's a bit dumb to ask, and even entertain the thought of doing it. It's everything in moderation. Eating, sleeping, working, playing out fantasies, etc. I don't have any problems with someone drinking, but if someone asks me if drinking 10 red bulls in a row and then downing a bottle of Goldschlager is a good idea, I'd probably think that person was a bit mental, wouldn't you?

Hello everyone, Just signed up a few minutes ago to what looks like a nice ab/dl community. hope to have some fun chatting with all of you As for myself I am a 31 year old DL from Canada. Which is a great mix if you like to do winter sports! I ski and snowshoe so it's perfect for me I've been a DL pretty much all my life. I've had fun with the AB part here and there, but deep down I know it's all about the diapers for me in the end. I've got a wife who is very understanding of my fetish, and allows me to wear whenever I want. as for other hobbies, i'm really into movies. horror movies, foreign movies, silent films, etc. usually really weird stuff like eraserhead or something, hehe... oh and i love a lot of indi rock like tori amos, white stripes, regina spektor, etc.... anyhow, it's getting late here, i'm off to bed, diapered in my comfy Attends... just wanted to say hello. hope to tty guys soon!
