"You didn't give Daddy a chance, sweetie. Here, let me do it now," Andy said, taking the knife and fork and cutting up the pancakes into bites for May. "wait for Daddy to cut it first from now on, Ok?"

"Awwww sweetie no don't..." Andy started saying before realizing it was too late and Mays face and hands were covered. "May May, we don't eat with our hands at the table. You use a fork." Andy showed his girlfriend how, like she was a toddler just learning and in a way she was.

"In a minute May May, be patient." Andy said in a tone that started to sound like annoyance. "They need a minute to cool down so you don't get ouchies in your mouth." He came and picked her up to bring her into the kitchen, where a sippy of juice and pancakes were waiting on her plate.

"Tell Pooh I'm sorry then, May May, but it's Daddy's rules," Andy said, putting on the TV for her and finding a kids cartoon for her to watch. "There we go, sweetie, you can watch Doc McStuffins." He gave May and Pooh a peck on the cheek and went back to cooking the breakfast.

"But Daddy needs to see where you are so he knows you're safe, little one," Andy said. "Go over and sit in Daddy's chair, not on the couch, OK sweetie?

"May May, stay here where Daddy can see you!" Andy said, starting to make the pancakes but seeing May run off. He knew he had to stay firm with his words to make sure the little May knew who was boss. He came into the living room and looked down at her. "You can play with Pooh bear just fine in the kitchen, pumpkin."

"I promise, May May," he said, sealing it with a kiss on his little girl's lips.

"People won't. And if they do, pumpkin, Daddy will protect you," Andy said to May, stroking her hair gently and cradling her head close. "I promise. That's what Daddies have to do."

"Why can't we, sweetie?" Andy said, knowing the answer especially now that it would probably mean May going in a diaper.

"I dunno, but Daddy's smart and little May May can help too. We will think of something together," he said, laying May down on the bed and taking off her pants to change her wet diaper. He made sure to dry her off good and put on lots of baby powder and rash cream, and when the diaper was on tight, he patted the seat of it. "There we go my May May is clean!"

"Hehe, I feel it, squishybum," Andy said, patting May's very wet diaper.

Andy woke up to May sucking her thumb with one hand and playing with his hair with the other. "Morning munchkin," he said, figuring she was still playing little. "How did you sleep May May?"

Finally when he was ready, Andy took May with him to their bed to sleep, and did his best to get into bed while holding her and not disturbing his little angel. He fell asleep shortly after, and his dreams were filled with scenes of him as a loving Daddy with his precious little May May...fantasies to become realities.

"Nighty night my May May,"Andy said, cradling her head and rocking her gently until she fell asleep, and gave her a kiss before stretching out on the couch to lay down. No matter how he moved though, she stayed stuck to him, and that made him smile. He didn't realize how much he wanted to be a Daddy to his girlfriend at first, but now he wouldn't dream of it being any other way.

"I'll try pumpkin," Andy said, bouncing May on his lap to try and keep her awake, but he didn't have the skills to know he was fighting a losing battle.

"Love May May," he said with a big smile, cuddling her close and cradling her head. He couldn't help but feel her wet her diaper during the movie, the warmth in his lap being obvious. He loved how innocent sucking her thumb looked, so he let her while they watched the movie together. She would need the pacifier for bedtime though, he decided.

"Always, May May, but Daddy doesn't have to get up to give you those," Andy said with a smile and a kiss on May's cheek.

"I guess that would be OK May May", Andy said, taking her to the kitchen to wash and make up her sippy. He poured in the juice and carried her back. "Alright, last call for things cause once Daddy puts in the movie, we are watching it."

"I don't think so, sweetie, soda's for big girls," Andy said, bringing her over to the couch and plopping May down so they could cuddle.

"We sure can, princess, but do you want to do that, or watch Frozen?

Andy wiped off May's hands; she had specks, but nothing that said she was eating with them.

Andy smiled and ate with his little girl, watching her eat a little more messily than he'd seen her, well, ever eat.

"I thought so.

"I can try, sweetie," Andy said, getting a good tight grip around her, and lifting her up against his chest.
