  1. I think you'll find many AB/DLs in general as awkward to deal with, not just babyfurs. Varying degrees of social inhibition are quite prevalent in the community. Myself I know tons of babyfurs who are among my best friends and are quite easy to approach and deal with in any normal setting. As for the whole 'Messing diapers at cons' thing, well I haven't heard any recent cases at any conventions for a few years. I myself have only gone to a few of them but they were among the largest of cons. To be perfectly honest I think only a fraction of those stories are genuine. I am pretty certain that at some point, some jerk who decided to be an exhibitionist of sorts, soiled his diapers in public. However there was just a huge rash of these occurrences over a seemingly small amount of time. And some of the tales themselves are a bit dubious (The one with the messy diaper in an elevator? Yeah that sounds like a framing of babyfurs.) XD There is a decent community. You just gotta know where to look. Most of the ones I'm closest to I met on Fur Affinity for instance. We tend to hang around Furry sites a little more then AB/DL sites, even if some of us lean more ab/dl then furry.
  2. I'd love to go. I only live a good hour & a half, or so, away. But I don't know anyone who's going. D:

    Meeting Furs

Sad that we must pay a price for our openess.
  4. Shouldn't be any surprise considering my fursona, but I always love seeing Stitch diapered. :3

    Meeting Furs

Best site I know for Furry ads is Pounced.org. It's not the same kind of social networking site as DiaperSpace is, but it works. :3
  6. Sorta off-topic, but, wow. Furries, and even some diaperfurs (furries who are DL's) complain about similar things in the fandom - as babyfurs are becoming the largest niche community. XD Anyway... Honestly, I've no explanation for it... Perhaps it's because it's more in-depth? I.e., it has more then just the fetish for diapers going for it: An Adult baby can have a diaper fetish but also engage in the age-play aspects. As well as utilize other paraphernalia. All to add to the experience. To AB's, the diapers are just an aspect. to DL's it's the focus (not that it's a bad focus ) - however the added content may be what fuels the adult baby's imaginations more?
  7. Haha, sounds cool. I'd move there. Although I bet it would smell a little... funky.
  8. Wish I could. But not this year. Most possibly 2010 though. :3 Deffinitly interested in seeing what the Cubhouse is all about. Hopefully there's no harresment of babyfurs, as it seems there's growing resentment from a few others in the fandom over things that have occured in past cons.

    Con Advice

What's the name of the con? I've never been to one, but I can say confidently that there are plenty of babyfurs/diaperfurs who attend most of them. The larger ones especially. They usually have a whole suite booked for babyfurs (C'ubhouse or Nusery) to hang out in. Also, babyfurs make up one of the largest clicks in the furry fandom, so we're actually pretty prevalent in our community by comparison.
  10. I concur. I know forced labor brings to mind a bunch of convicts in chains by the roadside digging ditches in Mississippi (Life, anyone? ). But having convicts do manual civic work would not only improve communities, but it'd give some reason for taxpayers to have to support them instead of just paying the state to shelter, cloth and feed guys who just sit around, lift weights and beat on each other.
  11. Actually it's much cheaper because then taxpayers don't have to support the convict. Regardless, I do agree that the death penalty isn't necessary.

    Second Life

I just made an account. Seems pretty neat. Was wondering if anyone wanted to show a fellow diaper/baby fur the ropes. If not thats ok, I'll figure it out one way or another. XD
  13. Actually his views are far less biased then you would think, and he did study the world’s major religions as a theologian, so he had a grasp on understanding them. :3
  14. To break that down using another quote of his: "I like your Christ, but I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." ~ Ghandi Just a comment on that: He didn't mean that Christians should be completely like Jesus and shoulder all his burdens and whatnot. He said that in the context of the above quote by Creepymouse. - Which is why I suppose it's better to quote that over the one I posted regardless of simplicity, as it avoids misconception.
  15. Hah, it seems so, saddly. I would just like to add that I too am a humanist, have been for a few years. Best thing about it is it's purely a philosophic view, not institutional. My personal beliefs in the way of theism are something more along the lines of what Einstein believed: That there may perhaps be a God, but his scope as a creator is far to vast to be a personal one. The question of scientific determinism gave rise to questions about Einstein's position on theological determinism, and whether or not he believed in a God. In 1929, Einstein told Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein "I believe in Spinoza's God, who reveals Himself in the lawful harmony of the world, not in a God Who concerns Himself with the fate and the doings of mankind." In a 1950 letter to M. Berkowitz, Einstein stated that "My position concerning God is that of an agnostic. I am convinced that a vivid consciousness of the primary importance of moral principles for the betterment and ennoblement of life does not need the idea of a law-giver, especially a law-giver who works on the basis of reward and punishment." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Einstein#Religious_views
