  1. I live at home and wear almost every day ^_^ . My parents and sister do not know anything about my diaper fetish. I stash stuff in my closet and under my bed; I am lucky enought to have parents who totally respect my privacy and will never snoop through my stuff. I order boxes of diapers all the time...sometimes my mom asks "what did you order" when they show up at the door, and I say "stuff" and that is the end of it :P . I have a great relationship with my parents and really have no reason to move out anytime soon B) .

  2. I was lucky enough to have a good friend that decided she would take a stab at making two suits -- one for her and one for me. They turned out awesome. My point here is that a lot of people make their own suits and find out that they have more talent than they would think at something like that. Even with good fur, you would only have about $400 in materials, so that is the best way to go if you are willing to try.

Otherwise the places mentioned above get up to $2000 pretty quickly, and have several months wait time usually.

I also just want to mention this -- I've seen a lot of furries who think they can shop from the gallery on a fursuit maker's website and pick one and go with it...however, it doesn't work that way. A fursuit maker will never duplicate someone else's suit. They expect you to send them good concept art (which can cost another $75 - $100), and then they build a suit based on that.

Anyway, those are my pointers for anyone considering getting a suit -- it is TONS of fun :D

  3. All of my close friends know, which is about 5 couples (so 10 people). I just started with my closest friend and worked my outward, and each one of them took it pretty well. Most of them don't like to openly discuss it, but a couple of them will encourage me wear in public and make diaper jokes around me on purpose for fun

I think I mentioned on another post that it seems to all depend on your friendship as to how people react. I am openly gay and openly furry with my friends, so I think they weren't all that surprised that there was other things I'm into. If you've always acted perfectly "normal" (I know, I hate that word) around your friends, they may be much more shocked by ABDLism. You have to slowly work your way into letting your friends know you are strange :P

  4. Ok I scanned this thread and I don't see anyone posting about this (maybe I am nuts :whistling: ) but I just received my first case of Bambino's since they went all white. However, while the inner lining does seem softer, it is also perforated. I'm not quite understanding this...it actually seems that some of the filling will make its way through the perforations and get stuck to my skin. Has anyone else had this happen? Have they been perforated for a while? Don't get me wrong; I still love them :P I'm just really not seeing the point of them being perforated...

  5. You totally should get a plushie. I love Dog (my stuffed dog if you couldn't guess  ) I have like 40 or 50 stuffed dogs and the collection still grows. Second I would say footed pajamas :P Nothing beats cuddling with tons of plushies while in footed pajamas  I would agree with others here that you should try to order some good diapers online. Oh, and if you get a bottle, there is also a NUK5 bottle nipple that is great for adult sized mouths :P

  6. I sometimes go a few weeks without wearing a diaper, and then I will go a week practically diapered the whole time. I wouldn't worry about trying to decide whether you like it or not. Just accept that sometimes you like it more and sometimes you like it less. I think it is pointless to try to develop a "static" image of yourself; we all change everyday

  7. I've often thought about that too. I kind of wonder about any fetish.....way back when it had to be hard because without the internet, nobody knew of anybody else (for the most part) that would be into the same fetish. I think everybody probably felt very alone and figured they were the only freaks out there (similar to most of us before discovering the ABDL community on the internet).

If you can find any info about Freud having an infantilist patient, I woud be interested to read it :P

  8. It's worked for me, but maybe being "abnormal" in other categories lead to AB having almost 0 consequences. With the people in my life knowing I'm lesbian, some know of my birth defect, and oh yeah, I'm two people... Tossing a binky and a diaper in with all that is nothing. (lol "Hi. We're Miakoda.")

To the poster who's friend was all "That's gross"... That is messed up! You didn't need that friend anyway. That is seriusly messed up, and he/she should be ashamed of themselves.

I think I may have been in kinda the same boat here. My friends all know I'm gay as well as some other quirky things I do, so that is why I think they didn't care when I told them about the ABDL thing. I think it would be a lot different if someone tries really hard to appear "normal" to a particular friend and then all of a sudden springs the ABDL thing on them.

Oh, and yeah, I agree as well that it is totally messed up how that friend was all "That's gross". That is just un-friend-like.

  9. so i just have to ask, can we not just say "i'm a christian" because there are so many many different factions of christianity, all with their unique interpretations of the bible and what it means to be a christian. Not all factions of christianity believe for example sex outside of marriage is a sin, or that looking at porn or masturbating is a sin. How about we be a bit more specific in our branch of christianity. CLaiming that everyone who is a christian believes the same thing is claiming all women can't drive, or all men are pigs. (ok ok... lets not get into those arguments.... )

But I thought all women really can't drive...is that not true? :D Just kidding :P

  10. I've never binged and purged, but I accidentally threw my baby bottle in the trash and didn't realize it till it was too late :crybaby: I had to buy another one, and then I threw that one in the trash as well, but realized it right away and pulled it out. Either I'm stupid or my subconscious just doesn't want me to have a baby bottle.

  11. :P I don't believe that I am myself a Jedi Knight as you'd see in the Movies, I use the idea behind the Force to guide me (being kind to others, looking out for those weaker than you and those who cannot speak for themselves, and being as peaceable as possible). For the longest time I haven't subscribed to the idea that there can be ONE higher power, since events are the creation of man himself. Every human can choose to be selfish or selfless. Looking back at historic events, things like the Holocaust turned me against the idea that there could be a compassionate God.

(basically, Jediism is a blend of Buddhism and Taoism with a great set of movies to go with it, a kick-butt John Williams soundtrack, and lightsabers!)

*steps off the soapbox and puts it away*

For those of you wondering.....I first lost my belief in God, then studied Eastern religions, took some ideas from a few of them then mixed and matched. It wasn't until AFTER that when i found out there actually WAS such a thing as Jediism.....and being a Star Wars fan, i said "cool" and went for it.

I'm with Mischa on this one. At some point earlier in my life I decided there obviously isn't a compassionate god, so I ditched the idea. Here is how I view your situation...wearing diapers and looking at porn and getting aroused while in diapers and whatnot is not affecting others in any way, so why sweat it? Your god wouldn't be a very good one if he got upset because you prefer to wear underwear that holds pee now would he. Sex is a natural thing and a beautiful thing if I do say so myself, so what is so wrong with viewing some pornographic pictures or videos?

    Just my 2 cents.

  12. It is impossible to know how it will turn out...if he really is a good friend, I would hope he wouldn't shun you over this (at worst I would hope he would just act like you never told him and ignore it). I have a few very close friends that I have told, and I am very glad I did because it helps me cope to be able to talk openly about it with my close friends.

I also have a few friends that I tried to tell who quickly changed the subject -- they just pretend I never mentioned it and we never discussed it again and that was that. I have never actually lost a friend over it.

But then again this is my personal experience, and maybe I just have really open minded friends........

  13. Good to hear its happened to others also. I started wearing a little over 3 years ago. I said to myself I was stictly DL (apart from my love for plastic pants). I remember writing in these forums a while ago curious about entering the AB side............

It started off with baby print plastic pants.....Ive got about 15 pairs, then I got myself a NUK5 paci.......dont go to bed diapered with out it..............then came a onesie, then another onsesie, then 3 more, then a romper, and now i want a nuk5 bottle teat. Still not an AB though............lol

I mean i dont like to act like a baby, but getting up this morning well padded (3 diapers) and wet as and wearing my cute tigger onesie and paci is what its all about !!! :P

I think you just described my life as well :P I was sure I would always be a DL, but then I had a similar buying experience to yours....except my most recent purchase is footy pajamas (which are soooo cute and super comfy by the way) :P Oh, and you should go for that nuk5 bottle teat....I just got one and I love it!!! :D

  14. And it seems every fur I have ever met owns a DVD of Kimba The White Lion, however I've yet to find one who has actually watched it.

HA - I am a furry who owns AND has watched Kimba

On a different note, I'm kinda curious how many AB's that are also furries mix or don't mix the two together....for example, I keep my furry and AB side pretty separate, so I am not a "babyfur". My fursona (of which I have a fursuit) is an adult, and I am typically in adult mode when indulging in furriness :P However, my AB side and my furry side both love to cuddle with my plushies, so maybe my two sides aren't that separate after all. Now I'm confused

  15. Well, my first post had to come sometime, and upon reading this thread I just had to post :P I have so many plushies I hardly have room for them anymore. My favorite is a large golden retriever named Dog (very original, right?) I would be heartbroken if anything ever happened to him. I have some close friends that know about my AB and furry side that are cool with my plushies and don't mind if I cuddle with them during movies or whatever. I am always getting plushies as gifts at holiday time too :P

So yeah, that friend of yours is a keeper; I don't know what I'd do without my good friends' support.
