I just got a sample of the Secure X Plus and the next step under. I tried them both out and even the one below the X Plus is better than the First Quality IB diaper I have been using for years. I have been in diapers since birth so I know thick diapers very well. I went from Pampers in 1970 to Pampers in 1984. Thick.....yes! I went to wingfold youth diapers which could be bought through JC Penny and Wards and then to Attends. In 1999 Attends started to waiver in quality so I went to First Quality IB diapers and found them to be the best so far. Since compression of the packages became prevalant, I have noticed all diapers to be thin. Being incontinent I shouldn't worry much about the diaper I wear, but being DL I do! I love thick diapers and as babyish as I can get them too! I can honestly say that the Secure line of diapers are the best so far that I have tried. I have yet to try ABENA, but I have throughout the years worn many thick diapers and so far in this day and age Secure Care has gotten it right.....even over Molicare!
